The best hamburgers EVER! Hands down...You can never go wrong. The service is excellent especially since oftentimes the customers are lined up out the door.

Ahi burger uses thick-cut raw food grade tuna, the surface is slightly seared and the inside is still raw. The crispy bread is sandwiched with fresh and sweet tuna. It is delicious when eaten directly!!The handmade milkshakes made using ancient methods are rich in flavor but not sticky. They are sweet but not overly sweet. They are the best milkshakes I have ever tasted.

SF. This review is just for the Oatly chocolate soft serve which was delicious in its simplicity! There’s nothing like a good old fashioned soft serve done right.

I come to Gott's in the Ferry Bldg at least once a month. We enjoy the food and the service is pretty good. I would typically give it 4/5 stars but today Carlos R at the counter gave us a really bad experience l. My friend reminded me this was the second time he has done this. When we handed the cash to him- he taps the counter and says "Counter when you're ready" initially we didn't understand- then he just taps the counter again and repeats the same thing- like he's a robot. I thought handing a cashier the cash versus leaving it in the counter was more polite... He shouldn't be dealing w/ customers if he behaves in such a rude manner. It gave us a really bad taste in our mouth.

I've heard decent things about Gott's and often stop by to get their soft serve but I was disappointed with my experience. I was looking for a quick bite on my way to catch the ferry and decided to get their kids meal which came with tenders, fries, and a drink. The best thing about this meal was the lemonade which was from a bottle. The fries did not taste fresh and weren't very crispy. The tenders were not good. Im pretty sure they served me undercooked chicken and I felt sick afterwards. The breading would just slide off when i but into it and they were poorly coated. It had a slimy taste. The chicken was hard to chew and tasted undercooked. The ranch also isn't good. I love ranch but the one they have here isn't great. The food wasn't the only bad thing, service wasn't great either. Maybe it was just a bad day but when I asked where the pickup section was the person I asked looked incredibly annoyed by my question. The person who was working pickup also exchanged very few words. As someone who has worked in customer service I always treat service workers with kindness and respect so I know my attitude towards them isn't the reason they're acting that way towards me. I don't know that I'd come here again if I am being honest. Their other locations might be better but this one isn't it.

Gott's sells vegan Oatly soft serve in both chocolate and vanilla flavors! Not sure if the cones are vegan so played it safe and got it in a cup. I got vanilla and it was so good, super smooth and creamy. Thanks for offering a vegan option!

I really enjoyed the California burger - love that it has all these extra cheffy items (fried egg! balsamic onions! arugula!). Will say the one time I got it delivered, I found the sweet potato fries extremely underwhelming. They were cold and limp, and they tasted still a bit undercooked. I also got an order of garlic fries which despite being cold, were still crisp and enjoyable, which indicates to me that the sweet potato fries were probably a dud even hot. Soggy fries aside, I recommend going in person because eating at Gott's at the Ferry Building (in the outdoor seating area) is a great way to spend a sunny afternoon.

I used to work there(had to quit after my mom died, so I could move back to Colorado to help my dad). But when I moved back and went back there to see about getting a job again Andy the GM acted like he didn't even know me and said something about hiring someone else. Which is cool but then when I went back to get something to eat again I feel like I was treated poorly and they called security to watch me and follow me around which I don't understand? Is that the way you treat customers Joel Gotts? Or is that just how Andy, Chris and Carlos treat customers? By the way Carlos is the biggest most disrespectful person towards customers I have ever seen or met.
I tried the organic dutch chocolate softie. The quality is good with mild flavour of chocolate.

The male helping us at the counter (#360) was a condescending, unprofessional, rude individual. I was there for my friend's birthday lunch and she asked for the " champagne Rogederer Brut" he responded " we don't have Champagne". She said, I see it right there. I responded, the " sparking wine". He then said, you have to know what it is if you want to order it. Ok so I thought what a jerk at this point. But then... the young female server who got the Roedere from the refrigerator said to another employee " I may need help opening this" ( referring to the sparking wine). I responded " I think it's a screw top" and he replied " No it is not". I said oh maybe not. I asked if he was having a good day and he replied " you needed to need to know it's not". Again..jerk? So I paid, waited the 20 minutes he said we would, and got basic mediocre food. Absolutely NOT worth the abuse from the cashier. I know help is hard to get in SF but would have rather done self check out than have that jerk spoil her birthday . Again, what a jerk!!!

I only tried their soft served ice cream. I choose salted caramel. So far, this is the best salted caramel ice cream I ever tasted. There is salt from cheese after taste which is very addictive. Also, you can have a free taste of different ice cream before you order. The service crew is very nice and warm and she even concern if I want to use all my coins to pay. :) I will try again other food in Gott’s roadside. :)

Came on a sunny Sunday afternoon. Service was friendly, and the six of us were easily able to find outdoor seating. The Ferry Building is always a vibe. The Vietnamese chicken salad lives in my head, rent free--I get it every time in the city. It's refreshing yet filling, and the chicken is so crispy without being heavy. The ahi burger and fries were also good. Brussels were fine but I wasn't fighting over them like I was for the fries.
