The business was closed when we got there despite YELP identifying it as open. I cannot weigh in on food, ambiance, or service since it was closed.

This is the perfect place to spend a pleasant evening, with affordable prices, excellent service, friendly staff, various drinks, and good food. Keep in mind that it is a small and low-key place. If you are a woman or go with a group of women, you will feel safe and protected.Unfortunately, I didn't take any pictures because I was too busy enjoying the drinks, the company, and the food. But we ordered:- Mozzarella Sticks with chipotle aioli.- Sweet Potato Fries- Sauteed Vegetables- Original Bacon Sliders (grilled beef patty, bacon, cheddar cheese topped with lettuce, tomatoes, and house sauce)- Bow And Arrow (Old Bardstown Bourbon, amaras verde mezcal, fresh lime juice, housemade pineapple cordial.) *my favorite- No Mas Tequila Güey (Campo azul silver, ancho reyes, fresh lime juice, cucumber juice, agave nectar, and a pinch of salt.)Give it a try!

I had made a decision to try 3rd & Bourbon based on the Yelp drink pictures. Once at the restaurant I was disappointed to find out what brought me there was no longer on the menu. Then I opted on a drink listed on the menu, however the waiter said they no longer made the drink I wanted. Luckily, he checked with the bartender who indicated he would. The atmosphere was slow, the music was medium, and honestly if it wasn't for the curiosity to try sliders with PB&J I probably would have passed on food.Nonetheless we opted to try the sliders and they were quite delicious and surprisingly the PB&J was just right. The loaded fries were equally as good. This restaurant/bar is one of those I check off my list but not sure if I'd go back.

My wife and I were in San Jose, and we decided to search for dining options on Yelp. That's when we stumbled upon 3rd & Bourbon, so we thought it would be worth trying. As soon as we arrived, we were promptly seated in this cozy yet pleasant establishment that offered an extensive selection of bourbons, as expected. To quench our thirst, my wife ordered the Valley Girl cocktail, while I opted for the 3B Old Fashioned. Both drinks were quite enjoyable. In terms of food, we ordered the original bacon sliders, mac and cheese, and the Western burger. My wife particularly liked the sliders, the mac and cheese was tasty, and the Western burger was absolutely delicious. The only downside was the chilly weather outside, as we were seated near the doors, which remained open. However, aside from that minor inconvenience, we would definitely return to this place and highly recommend it.

Great cocktails and the sliders were perfect. Looks to always be a special slider on the menu to go with the regular menu. Not a ton of seating the night I was there at least so make a reservation if you can.

Cool spot downtown San Jose for drinks and great eats. 4.5 stars Drinks/Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5Cost to worth it rating: 3 (most cocktails $15, apps $14)Opentableable: noReturn worthiness: yesEve award: best fun yet delicious fried chicken sliders--with mac and cheeseHighlights: - Mac and cheese fried chicken sliders: thought these would just be a novelty and disappointing when eaten like sone fair foods. But not the case at all. The chicken was breaded and spiced so well, mac and cheese just the right amount of cheesy and creamy and soft noodles, and super soft warm buns. 5+ stars- Happy hour: 4-6pm 15% off apps and sides, 10% off cocktails, 50% off draft beer which is a great deal. Includes the sliders! - Wings: good with saucy bbq. 4 stars - Drinks: mule wasn't too sweet and old fashioned flavors were good.- Staff: wonderful, attentive, and friendly waiter who made our visit great. Always had our waters filled too which I appreciate. - Atmosphere: classy yet comfortable with nice red velvety booths. Midlights:- Since it's so small can see it get crowded later in the evening. Lowlights:- Old fashioned ice cubes: for a bourbon spot expect a big single cube in my drink vs a bunch of ice filled to the top.Loved our afternoon stop and need to come back to introduce more friends to those sliders I've been dreaming of.

Hadn't been here since pre-Covid and it's changed a lot. The bar area and such are the same, but the atmosphere was totally different. We walk in and we're greeted by the bartender and take a seat at the bar. Behind us walks in another couple who say "hey, remember us?" The bartender then completely ignores us, proceeds to talk to them, take their order and make them drinks. His protégé noticed this, came over, gave us menus and apologize. Once I made the comment that's gonna affect the tip he became more attentive and personable. The dude has his own style, but turned out to be a nice guy and makes killer cocktails.

Pretty good happy hour, can’t half off beers! Didn’t try the food. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting. A great place to go before dinner or before heading to the sap center for an event.

Nice place for drinks, the bartender was friendly and takes his time so probably it not the best for a quick stop. Also he did unfortunately get one of our drinks wrong and still charged us for it. But other than that the place was great and had a nice ambiance. Also google maps shows it more so on the corner but it’s actually one shop in from the corner
