Such limited options compared to other locations…very disappointing!

Good service, good food, but it's too noisy. I think the acoustics make the refrigerated machines loud and it's hard to communicate.

I don't think I ever seen salmon look like this besides this one time I left salmon in the fridge and it went bad. I had to toss this $25 poke bowl away. I wasn't going to take any chances eating this. You can immediately tell the texture and color is off just by looking at it. This is why I avoid trying new places. I'll stick to my usual Aloha Fresh in Japantown!

I came here to use my $50 never used gift card to this place. It was rejected even with legitimate receipt of purchase because the owners “changed their system” so that it doesn’t support gift cards. Upon hearing about the situation, employee Kevin said he would help, but ended up ditching the store for over 30 minutes while his colleague stayed back with us. His colleague had to call Kevin multiple times just to get ahold of him because he wasn’t in the store anymore - turns out he was hiding away from the situation, and his colleague had to step in to communicate and keep us company. Ultimately, nobody was able to resolve the gift card issue even though it’s $50 unused with proof of purchase (btw, California law states that gift cards NEVER expire). I simply can’t deal with incompetent management and disrespectful service. Not only did I leave without my food, but also with a terrible impression of the management at this place. Plus, the employee who stayed back with us recommended another better & cheaper poke bowl place down the street. There’s wayyy better options in a place like San Jose :)

This place should really get no stars as the service and food are terrible at this facility. It takes a really disappointing experience like this to be awarded with such a negative review. The only reason we chose this place was because we wanted to use a gift card. We ordered our food, tried to pay with a legitimate poki bowl gift card, but Kevin and the other server could not figure out how to use the gift card. So Kevin called his manager but apparently he is vacationing in Mexico and could not be disturbed. He called other owners and they were unhelpful too. After waiting patiently for over 30 minutes, Kevin didn't have the authority to do anything and didn't do anything for us. He hid in the back of the restaurant and was meek. As such, we left our order in disgust and disappointment. His manager, Johnathan Nguyen didn't help in any way either.I do not recommend this restaurant at all. There are much better poki bowl places with better fish, more choices for toppings, lower prices and of course, way better service.

the poke bowl itself was good. however, the atmosphere was depressing and the customer service was not impressive.

This place is overpriced. Not worth it. I ordered a large bowl which you get 4 choices of tuna but it’s more like 2 choices of tuna, the portions are small. Never fails!

Eh, it was okay. I live somewhat in between this and Poke House on Almaden (which is my go to). The poke was overpriced to begin with, they really don't have many options on toppings and sauces and there are a lot of add ons that you have to pay extra for, the ingredients didn't look or taste very fresh either. The service was average as wellI'll stick to Poke House on Almaden.
Not worth it for the price. Fish doesn't taste that fresh, but it's okay, if the price was less. The veggies/sides are definitely not fresh at all. And not much choices.Their sauces is only mild, medium, spicy. Not much variety for a poke spot. Won't be going back here. Plenty of other Poke spots that have fresher ingredients.

This was perfectly acceptable poke. Not worth making a trip for but nice enough to have if local.

I have been to this location several times and normally get a good amount of toppings. I went there tonight and there was no one in there. There were 3 employees helping with 2 bowls. I was fine with amount of protein but when it came down to the toppings, the Asian guy with the glasses was so stingy. I had to ask for more avocado because he gave so little. He said he would have to charge me extra. I told him that he didn’t give me much avocado so he gave me a little more with an unhappy look. One more thing, the rice was undercooked. Employees should make sure the rice is not undercooked before serving it to customers. Prices keep increasing for the bowls so it’s only fair that your employees make complete bowls with rice that is fully cooked.

I usually like to come to this store, but now I think twice, the workers (kids) are ruder now, and if you don't pay attention to the amount of the content of the spoonfuls you order, they only serve you 1 piece of tuna or salmon, and if you ask them to serve you the right amount they get mad and want to charge you more. so if you come here check the service, oh and the avocado, note that it is green, because they serve it stained and in that way you can get sick.

Wonderful and quick place for a healthy meal, with quick and friendly service. Looking for a great protein meal, has several choices of great tasting seafood, served on a bed of rice, greens or chips, spicy, not-so spicy or mild sauces, ten different toppings and three different drizzles. Make it the way you want it. I’ll be back!
