Came on a Friday night, and the place was mostly empty with some scattered small groups in the back patio area and upfront by the main bar. Pretty easy to get into and there was no cover. They did have two DJs, which seem to be a little over the top, considering how small the crowd was. The main type of music they were playing here was House music which, if that's your jam, great. We probably came on a specific night, but they really didn't deviate from the theme at all. We ended up getting bottle service here as we came after dinner and the bottle price was what you would expect for going out downtown. The mixers were not that great, in particular the pineapple juice. However, the server was very attentive. I will say that and made sure our group was well taken care of.might be better on other nights, but I'm not in any rush to come back considering the amount of other spots on the same street that looked a little bit more fun.

Me and my brother went for the first time and met a ton of new people who were all extremely lovely.

I was staying at the San Jose Marriott Hotel and decided to have a drink with a colleague at a nearby bar. After walking around and looking around, I found this bar and entered. Although the lighting was quite dim, I found a sofa and sat down. After 3 minutes, no one came to take my order, so I realized I had to order by myself at the counter. I decided to order an original cocktail, and my colleague ordered and paid for it. The bourbon and whiskey based cocktails were delicious. The music was so loud that I couldn't hear my coworkers talking. This was more of a club than a bar. If you want to enjoy conversation with colleagues while drinking alcohol, this may not be the place for you.Kid-friendliness: Students are prohibited from entering.

It was a slightly slow evening, but I was impressed by the service given.. I'm honestly going to try and get there again soon.

It's giving wack it's giving no. First things first the security bouncers are rude, and second the music was so wack I could not. The whole set up was so tiny and crowded too. Girls got in free but men had to pay the $5 cover charge. This place isn't worth the $5 it was so lame beyond belief. They were playing trance and house music but the vibes were not it, save that for vegas. I would skip this joint for sure because it was wack city!!!!

Rude bartenders. Asked for a menu and was told, "If you order something from there it'll slow us down." Mind you there was maybe 12 people inside on Saturday night. Ok, how's this for an easy order (I walked out). Also, the tribal-orgy EDM music they were playing was terrible.

We went during the Christmas season so I bet it was slightly more packed than usual because DTSJ is kinda dead nowadays. Its a big space and they have loud music and a dance floor. I didn't see too much dancing but it was fun, but really contingent on the group you are with. The drinks were okay, not weak but not strong and it was easy to order. They had tables where you can set your drink. I don't remember much on the music which means it wasn't memorable lol Overall it was a decent experience and it definitely reminded me of my college days... San Jose is still very much Man Jose lol

the service was terrible, the bartender with a dark beard and hair was also terrible. I waited at the bar for 15 minutes until he approached me and since they don’t give any menu, I didn’t know what cocktails they had, I asked him to make Two cocktails of his choice, where he looked at me menacingly and left to serve other guys, left me alone in an awkward position, I went up to my boyfriend and asked him to take me a cocktail. Since I didn’t want to go there anymore, the cocktail tasted terrible, I asked to buy another one - it was no better. we spent money on nothing. so guys don't buy any cocktails from them, they are terrible, the atmosphere itself was normal, the music was uninteresting and the same. the female board tender also never smiled and was very rude, the most important thing in business is service and if you serve guys like that, no one will come to you and you need to fire the Bartender because he doesn’t know how to behave with clients and it gives you such a feeling that you owe him something and you didn’t come to rest

Espresso martini was not what I was expecting. It was mostly all baileys, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing. It was not like that clear black espresso with foam on top.

Good happy hour deals (regular prices a bit expensive, in particular cocktails). Nice chill out

Cool spot for a date night! This company is known for bars with vibes so if you're looking for something to do with a date on Wednesdays or Thursdays, this spot is a vibe.

Listennnn!!!!!!!!!!!!! So if u are from Europe zone and u are looking for rave this is the best place for raving in San Jose area. U gonna like music after 11pm for sure. DJ plays melodic techno music and atmosphere is good as well !!! If u are between this bar/club and pure nightclub this is better option if there is no good event in pure nightclub.

Tough spot to attend... if "Jonathan R." is your bartender, best of luck with your night. An absolute damper on an evening.Servicing a night scene isn't easy by any means, but witnessing this guy not having the patience for someone with mental health struggles was tough one to watch. That was rough to witnessNot loving the fact I have give a single star, just to comment. The guy, nor the establishment, doesn't deserve a job for his actions.
