We absolutely loved this place, favourite Poke in the area, and are really devastated that it seems to be closed until further notice....!

I don't usually like poke. This was delicious. I've gone back multiple times. Unfortunately their lease is up and they've closed :(

Edit to respond to comment from owner: This review was really hard to write, because I met you and I did really like you. Buy one get one half off is a great deal to get new customers through the door, I agree that you don't need to give anything away for free. But I need to write honest reviews, mainly for myself to remember which of the many similar restaurants I enjoyed and can revisit, and secondly for others to make informed decisions about where to spend their dollars. Sushi needs to be frozen right away after catching, and vacuum sealing is the safest way to transport. That wasn't meant to be an insult. In fact, nothing that I wrote was meant to be taken as an insult. There are plenty of other reviews on here doing way worse damage than mine (search for food poisoning), you should be correcting the problems leading to that instead of responding to negative reviews in the manner you chose. I think my factual review and your over-reaction speak volumes. Please don't delete what you wrote to me. ---------------------------------- The fish looks like it was taken out of the vacuum-sealed bag days ago, and the only way I can describe the rice is "mushy." I had a salmon sushirito and a make-your-own poke bowl with salmon and tuna. Very small portion for the poke bowl (two tiny scoops of protein for the price of three at most other places). It was fun to watch the machine spit out a flat layer of rice onto the seaweed paper and I can understand why you might need mushy rice for this process. But the mushy rice meant that I couldn't fully enjoy my poke bowl. The flavor combination of that salmon-rito was on point. Slight hint of spice and enough fat to make it craveable. Throw in some fresher fish, get rid of the fillers, and this would be a winner. The build your own was a missed opportunity. The topping options are lacking and some out of place things are offered (two different cabbages, for example). Seaweed salad and crab salad are extra. They nailed it with their sauces, I'll give them that.

I love sushi and anything that makes it easier for me to eat said sushi, so placing it into burrito form makes it that much better! I've eaten at several different sushi burrito places in the past, but none with as creative a menu as 'Wrapped Fish'. I kept it relatively tame this time around with the #3 Salmon crunch (great option by the way), but next time I think I'll be a little more adventurous and go with 5 alarm fish (they managed to combine flaming hot Cheetos and sushi!? ). Keep up the good work and I'll be back for a visit soon !

I've been wanting to try a sushi burrito for a while now, and I found this place here on yelp. I was convinced to come here because of the good reviews, and I'd say it definitely lives up to them! When we came in at dinner time on a Saturday, most of the other tables were free. The staff was very friendly, and the place was clean. I ordered the salmon crunch (#3), and the flavors of all the different ingredients came together nicely. There was more spicy mayo than I was expecting in it, almost overpowering everything else, but it was still great. My parents both got the Maui madness (#2), and they both thought it was delicious. Definitely coming back again!

The food pleasantly surprised me the first time we went here but it was still just 3.5 stars for me. The difference between a regular and large is 1 versus 2 scoops of protein. The burrito is still really big when you get the regular and was plenty filling for me. It was cool to see their machine spit out a perfectly leveled base of sushi rice on top of the seaweed. One thing I noticed though, the burritos were spilling out at the ends and they just kind of mash it together. I thought the quality of the fish was just ok but the sauces masked that. The seaweed is superrrrr oily, I'm not sure how or why. When I tried to use my passport at the register, which is 20% off dining and catering, we were given 10% off each... that's not the same... it should be 20% off both. Anyway, we decided to give them another chance recently and pretty much the same thing happened. I was given 20% off one but then I told her it should be off of both.. she did it but then I noticed she rang me up for the wrong item! Instead of making me the correct one, she just stood there apologizing. I finally told her I didn't order that so I want the one I ordered ... I'm not going to take home something I didn't ask for and pay more for it. They remade my order a lot quicker so that was good. Unfortunately, when I got home and opened it up, it was drenched and oozing with sauce. I literally had to poke a hole at the bottom to let the excess sauce out and eat the top with a fork, it was extremely messy! And I did not enjoy the sauce overload. My stomach felt really queasy after I finished and I ended up having not so pleasant trips to the restroom that night. I don't know what it was but I'm not going to find out again. Too many strikes for this place.

Awesome sushiritto! Fresh and flavorful. Get the avocado/ginger spread (not a ginger lover) gives extra flavor, you won't regret it. Add some roasted onions and garlic for some crunch! Best sushiritto in the South Bay! (Update) another great experience here! Can't recommend this enough! Great food!

Much more affordable than sushiritto. The entries are also very bid.nThere are a wide variety of speciality rolls, if you dont know what to put in your sushi burrito. The quality of fish was mediocre, didnt taste as fresh as it looks. I got the maui salmon, and it was really saucy. There wasnt anything about this place that makes it STAND OUT. Your typical poki place, but just wrapped in a burrito. If i were to come here again, i would ask for less sauce.

Ok, so I've been here twice, this place is pretty good *at least to me. So the first time I came here I was a little hesitant since the parking lot is a little rough but honestly the food is totally worth it. I've gotten the sushi burrito twice here *the crab one, it's actually a lot of food and it taste pretty good, if you like sushiritto I would recommend this place and if you're not in the mood for a sushi burrito then you can always get a bowl. See the pics attached! *you can also create you're own burrito 5/5 will come again -Josh

I'd give a 4.5 if I could. Had a tuna bowl and it was good, service was great. The sushi rice was a little mushy is my only complaint, but the bowl was fantastic overall.

From the first moment I walked into this place when it first opened, I had fallen in love. This place is clean, neat & has GREAT staff! I still can't believe that this place is so affordable with such great food! I love their options & their bowls/sushi burritos are amazing. The fish is fresh & everything in their portions looks clean/fresh

Great food! Great service! The owner is very nice. Was very accommodating for my shellfish allergy. I built my own burrito, loved the creamy wasabi sauce. My boyfriend got a poke bowl and he loved every bite of it.
