Great food and great people. They serve hearty portions of authentic Mexican food. Currently still open and taking takeout orders.

Everything is great food wise. The service is down to earth and homely. Feels like mama's house. Authentic..

One of my favorite places for burritos, ESPECIALLY their breakfast burritos. Homemade, fresh food, absolutely phenomenal!

They say the hole in the wall restaurants and cafes are usually the best! Coming here was exactly that! Delicious! I got the cocido because I heard it was the best in town. I have to say I was nothing short of impressed. My order contained a bit of everything....lots of meat (not shisty with the meat), potato, carrot, cabbage, zucchini...Yummmmm. I loved it. The portion is decieving as I thought it would not be quite enough. But much to my surprise it was more than plenty! Would I return? Hands down, I would absolutely come back and encourage everyone I know to come here as well. Will not disappoint!

Trines is one of the best restaurants I've ever been to. They have the best cosido ever, all of the food is authentic and extremely tasty! The staff is wonderful, Doña Licha is the sweetest person ever, and the cook Toño is hilarious, he comes out and talks to people and gives everyone laughs. Love this place and definitely recommend it.

The owner is super sweet but the food was seriously something I couldn't believe. I hate to say this but it was some of the worst Mexican food I've ever had. Flavorless and definitely overpriced. Pretty sure the beans were from a can. You know when you taste authentic Mexican style beans and you get that flavorful Manteca that adds that certain texture. There was none of that to be found. I think the tacos were around $4 each which would be fine but the chicken was so dry and had no flavor. $15 nachos that were beyond bland and I can't even get started on the burrito. Maybe I went on a bad day? Great reviews but sadly I don't understand what all the hype is about.

didn't get served like everyone else got and our food seem to be ready the same time the people who came after us were served not to mention that we didn't get the same courtesy like they did we had to actually ask for the condiments that went with the mundo and for napkins they sure didn't so racist....Seriously i don't recommend it if your white with a black boyfriend it's sad no maners

OK if you're looking for good Mexican food and the best Cosido in town this is the place... don't mind the decor but you can't find a better bowl of Cosido anywhere!!!!!!!

this place has the most delicious posole that I've found so far. yes, it's not in the greatest area, if you're not hanging out outside loitering, should be just fine. The staff are friendly and provide great service.

My mom wasn't feeling well and wanted some cocido. I went on yelp and Trines had the best rating - so we drove 20 minutes to check it out. Upon arrival we sat down at a booth and were given a menu quickly. I saw the man sitting behind me was eating a wet burrito that looked delicious so I made up my mind immediately. My mother ordered the cocido and I got the wet burrito. The chips and salsa were good but I prefer a pico de gallo versus a green chili. The food was delivered quickly and I it smelled so good. My burrito was huge and filled up. I cut it in half and it was loaded with lots of carne asada, rice, beans, lettuce and cheese. It was so delicious- I was so happy with the carne asada flavor. I am from So Cal and have found it hard to find a good place for carne asada and I'm so good I finally found the place!!!! My mom loved her cocido. It was very flavorful and had tons of veggies. The meat was tender and oh so good. I am so happy we found this little gem and can't waIt to come back.
