If you are in traffic late afternoon anywhere near Gilroy, Hollister or San Juan, head straight to this place. Its worth the time and travel. Such a great space and nothing better than a family owned business 🧡 The staff and menu were both amazing. So many fresh and homemade selections. Go early to check out the local shops along 3rd Street before your dinner!

We stopped by this cute little historical town and LOVED this family owned restaurant! We were greeted immediately by a friendly host, the service was fast, and the food was amazing! Everything was very fresh, the potstickers are homemade everyday, and the edamame has a special sauce that’s family made! Even the owners came to our table to make sure we had everything we needed! Highly recommended stopping in with an appetite! You won’t be disappointed!

While visiting my dad in Hollister, he chose to get sushi for dinner on the last night in town! We ordered the sashimi. Man, was that an experience! I know now not to eat the large orange balls! There, I said it! The service was excellent and accommodating. Pam didn’t like the fan blowing her hair into her mouth, so they moved the fan! I was hot, though! LOL, the Tempura fried shrimp was giant and tasty! Ashlyn has the California roll; she loved it! I even saw a couple of buddies from High school. Great little restaurant and town!

I'm a single diner. I tip very well. I was disappointed in the service I was provided. I understand that waiters gravitate to large tables because that is where the biggest tips are, but I deserve the same quality of service!

Was excited to hear because of the high reviews. Once we were seated - we waited and waited for our server - who was just socializing with folks at the next table over. Two other tables were seated and had menus and drinks brought to them before our server decided to do her job.
I was brought out something I didn’t order - and it wasn’t very good. I have been mis-served at restaurants before the past and had been pleasantly surprised. Not this time. Thank you for taking it off the bill.
Whatever - there are other Japanese restaurants in the area that will get my money in the future.
We came to the area for food at a different restaurant, but the wait there was over an hour, so we decided to try Inaka instead. We were delighted with our food. We are not very familiar with Japanese food generally, but enjoyed the teriyaki and the sushi rolls that we ordered.
