Was born and raised in SL. Place been here forever. Food is good but the prices are outrageous. $50 for breakfast for 2, $8 for 2 cups of coffee, we had a club sandwich and 2 eggs with linguica. Crazy

To all my Google reviewers this place is excellent! The food is good the service is good place is very clean and a very wonderful atmosphere. Service with a smile! If you live in this area or not in this area, take a nice drive and have a very tasty breakfast lunch or dinner. This is my first time coming here and I was overwhelmingly impressed! I definitely will be back here again. The bar is well stocked. Plenty of TVs to watch the games. You definitely won't be disappointed!

Food is always great and the service… EXCELLENT!!!!
The restaurant has a pretty extensive menu although the dishes are a bit pricey. I ordered the seafood plate which had 1 piece of fish that was supposed to be sole, 3 or 4 fried shrimp, and 3 or 4 fried scallops with fries. The fries were delicious. The scallops had too much breading and were pretty dry. The shrimp was okay but no better than the boxed shrimp I buy. And the sole didn't taste like sole. My friend raved about the food so perhaps I selected the wrong dish. At any rate, the waitress was very nice, the service was prompt, and the restaurant was very clean.
This is one of our fav ol American style eateries in San Leandro..Very popular with local citizens, has been for years & years. Prompt attention, large menu, food is fresh, great cup of coffee...for a quick inviting meal its a great place.
Came here with a big party for dinner. There was no wait and we were seated right away. The server was kind and attentive and the food came out in a timely manner.

So nice for my friend to treat me for a birthday dinner.
Very good service. Loved food. Will dine in again
Menu selections are varied and excellent. The minestrone is a very good specialty. Portions are generous. Steaks are excellent and generous in portion size. Breakfast and egg dishes are always consistent. Service is cheerful. Salads are great especially with an Elio’s Greek style dressing..

We hadn’t been to the Bay Area in years, yet Elio’s Family Restaurant was still there in San Leandro. We went for dinner right before they got busier. The parking lot was full of cars, which is a good sign you’ve come the right place!
I ordered the grilled pork chops, mom got her chicken fried steak, and Nancy chose the grilled salmon salad. I had a house salad with my meal, whereas mom chose the chicken noodle soup , which she topped with crackers.
The food was delicious, the service superb, and we were able to maneuver the wheelchair just fine as we made our way to the back where the wheelchair fit perfectly beneath the table top. Happy all the way around. Concepcion was our waitress and she made sure everything was just right.
