Beware food poisoning after new middle eastern employees make our sandwiches. Even our dogs got sick from the beef. Horrible, we were on a road trip and had to turn around. We will never go to San Lorenzo Subway again.

I went here with my family on Saturday. We are grateful that this location is still open (the other location on Hesperian Boulevard recently closed- I'm still shocked at the suddenness of it). I wanted to go here for years (the two pictures that I posted in 2014 are from a visit made by my wife and her best friend). We were thankfully the only customers. There was only one server/cashier. The seating capacity is 34, which is impressive for a Subway location. I was also surprised at how spacious it is inside (this location isn't the hole-in-the-wall that I thought it was). There's a nice selection of drinks and chips and cookies. The prices are also good here. The parking lot is old and tight. Parking is often an ordeal because there are usually a lot of mofos around. Our server/cashier was friendly and thorough (he also worked quickly overall), but my wife and I had to repeat ourselves too much. I also thought that the guy said $37.75 (our total was $27.75). A year ago, Subway reduced the bread choices. They also don't promote them like before (I had to check the nutrition information before my son's sandwich was ordered- the bread choices are listed there). 12" Salami Sub ($7.99): 9/10. My son was hungry. He devoured his sandwich, and so I wasn't able to take a picture. He received a lot of salami (the sandwich also had some American cheese). 12" Cold Cut Combo Sub ($6.99): 8.5/10. You can't beat the price, and my wife was very pleased with her sandwich. 12" Tuna Sub ($8.99; $10.58 with extra meat): 8.25/10. The mayo could have been spread out better, but my sandwich was delicious and filling. At the location that recently closed, my sandwich would have been $12.18. Chocolate Chip; White Chip Macadamia Nut; Oatmeal Raisin. We liked our cookies. They were soft and fresh. Coupons might not be honored here, and our server/cashier didn't seem proficient in using the cash register. Our food was good and nicely priced. We also had a great experience overall.

I don't leave usually do theses ratings BUT! However I had to take time on my lunch break to feed feed my sandwich to the bird's at my job and leave this for the public, there is no star worthy of how this place , there employees are extremely disrespectful and prejudice employee number 10191 at the San Lorenzo location not only did I have any say so on how my sandwich was made she completely did not want to make the sandwich so I stepped back and let her have her moment but when she greeted the customer behind me differently that was the same race as her ,I flipped it. had to let her know of her attitude telling then she left while not bagging my items properly I had to come back to the store and receive the rest of my order, I will never ever again spend my money here my experience was so unsatisfactory I could not eat my sandwich on my lunch break and that's all I had very disappointed

This Location might as well go out of business now she put about four pickles on my sandwich barely any meat barely any lettuce no care at all went into making the sandwich she look like she was half sleep subway is huge on false advertisement not to mention the sandwich was over $14 which is insane I will never be back if you hate your job so much don't work there find something that suits you

For a footlong that cost too much but at least I got to eat a hot sandwich I did get the fellow a couple of dollars what more do you want from me you already took my first born in all my other kids I can still smell the other half of the sandwich no I'm not hungry not right now so I gave you a better rating and after you hang me I'm ready

Worst subway around here! This place never accepts big item coupons only small ones. their excuse has been they don't like to participate in any promotions, corporate needs to put their foot down and force them to accept all coupons or be fined.

To anybody who is thinking this subway might be the spot or you're real hungry... just go somewhere else if you see this tattoo'd old lady with green hair working. It was 11:30AM on a Tuesday (May 31st, 2022 -in case any subway management sees this) I'm ordering two sandwiches which are exactly the same; I wanted to make the order easy for the old lady helping us. I don't mean old as in a senior citizen, this lady was very capable, just lazy and ignorant beyond imagination. Anyway, as she's asking me what I want on the sandwiches, she's asking if I want the sandwich sauced before or after toasting it, I specifically said, "before toasting please" but she didn't listen, so I try to ask why shy would ask if she wasn't going to do it anyway? She responded with, "you told me after toasting..." Oh boy... she got all huffy and puffy with my party and flipped her hair back. To which I saw she had her airpods in, I could literally hear the baila music bursting her eardrums. On top of all this, she messed up the condiments we wanted. So much so, that it wasnt even close to what my party had wanted to order. So she tried to argue with us that we didn't tell her specifically what we wanted. Based on the tone of her voice and body language, she had been trying to rush us out.. probably due to the hangover she was talking about with her peers in the back before she decided to take our order. We were very very very very disappointed. We really like Subway and were in the Hayward, San Lorenzo area to visit family. But we definitely know not to come here again.. PLEASE CONSIDER NOT VISITING THIS LOCATION IF YOU SEE SAID EMPLOYEE THERE! Unless you're looking for someone who won't listen and will just belligerently tell you that you (THE CUSTOMER) are wrong!

Food taste great but just wondering about their safety. My stomach was hurting really bad after eating this and idk if it was me or the food. The lines could get really long during rush hour but it moves quickly.

This is my go to subway. I never have a problem here but today I had to walk out because of the behavior I heard from an employee. Came in to the restaurant to get a sandwich to go. A Customer and an employee started having a very inappropriate discussion. Employee was talking about how she believes the women of Bill Cosby wanted to be raped - quote "they wanted it". And talking about how singer, Aaliyah at 16 years old liked being "smashed" by her molestor, r . Kelly. What the hell is this? This is absolutely foul. No customer and absolutely no employee should be laughing and talking about such a topic and their disgusting opinions. Employee should be fired for her foul behavior. Won't be coming back as long she works here...
