This is the best kept secret in SLO! The deli is amazing!!!! They have unbelievably delicious and HUGE sandwiches, the best fried zucchini, amazing breakfast sandwiches and burritos…and that’s all I’ve tried so far, but I look forward tot trying more items. The prices are great for how much food you receive. And the staff is very friendly! There is some seating inside as well as a back patio. The market is also well stocked. You wouldn’t know this place exists unless you know…it’s inside of the store at the gas station, and it has become one of my favorite delis in SLO (against tough competition!). I love it.

This is the hidden gem in San Luis Obispo a perfect place to stop and get a wonderful meal before flying out at the San Luis Obispo Airport. The food is very plentiful made to order and is always a place.I like to stop and grab something to go rather than relying on airport food.

Imagine my surprise when I bit into this bad boy! Nine dollars for head of lettuce with a garnishment of meat! I couldn’t help but laugh when I pictured a person making this just frantically shoving more and more lettuce in. Did they do this to give the appearance of being large! If you took out half the lettuce, it reduces the size drastically. Nine dollars for a head of lettuce with a sprinkle of meat! Ha ha!

It's a gasoline deli market. I like its atmosphere and its takeaway food. They don't deliver at home. You can eat there.
I am a life coach and job coach for adults with developmental disabilities. I interact with my clients usually outdoors. I don’t have an office and work out of my car. I am not homeless and not uneducated. In fact I have a bachelor’s in psychology. Anyhow, the deli gal kept rolling her eyes at me while I heated my food. She went and told her store manager who came to crowd me at the microwave, I feel I wasn’t doing anything wrong as I began to explain im a mobile social worker and I can’t afford to eat out and the manager interrupted me telling me to shut up and get out as loud as she could. I am confused and don’t understand what I did but will never shop in this establishment again or let my clients go there. I am an important part of this county as my job no one else will do to support others and I definitely didn’t deserve to be treated the way I did in this store by a troubled staff.

Purposely drove here for gas and a wash. 10pm doors are locked, pumps are off and cones block the car wash. Complete waste of my time

Went in the other morning for a bagel with cream cheese. They burned my bagel. It was so charred that it left cuts on the roof of my mouth.Very unpleasant. Also there wasn’t much cream cheese on the bagel. FYI bagels are to be toasted not roasted. The price is also why I had no choice but to post a review. Maybe if it was good like it used to be. I would have no problem paying for that because at one point this bagel was loaded and toasted to perfection.
