Eggettes

I been wanting to get my hands on the honeydew eggettes for a while now but every time I do find myself at an Eggettes location, they don't have that special favor available as an option! So on a random Thursday evening, I finally got lucky at the Eggettes location in San Mateo. I really only come here for their snacks. I've tried their drinks but don't really care for it. It's not bad but I wouldn't say they're good/high quality. You have gongcha and now urban ritual down the street, which I think are better places for boba. Their snacks though, I think are pretty spot on and good. Perfect amount of flavor and spices. The popcorn chicken and calamari are delicious, super crispy! I also always get the hk rice rolls, and I think they make it pretty good...read full review

SOLID. I feel like there are a lot of boba places that also sell snacks don't do a great job with their boba. However, this place has awesome egg puffs and solid boba drinks. The egg puffs are served super fresh, hot, and chewy and they come in 3 flavors - match, chocolate, and original. As for boba drinks, I tried their grapefruit green tea and their milk tea and both were very good. I find a lot of boba places to taste very artificial with syrups and creamers but not this place!
