today I tried delivery, and I ordered beef dry pot, there is not even a single piece of beef inside it. Are u kidding me??? I paid 30 bucks for it.

The restaurant locates in San Mateo downtown. The place is clean and offers variety of options for hot pot.

Food: various soup bases to choose from, people can have one to three different soup bases in one pot. Foods are fresh and many varieties. They also have free self-serve snack stands at the middle of the place, such as sesame balls, chicken feet, veggie, fruits, and self-mix dipping sauce.

Price: about average for hot pot places.

They waited 10 min to bring out our soup after we ordered. We watched the table in front of us go from empty, seated, ordered, soup heating, and eating their hotpot before we received our cold soup…and the restaurant was over half empty the whole time.

Went for the $19.99 lunch special, which includes select meats & shrimp (broth, veggies, and sauce bar were additional charges). Quality and flavors were good but not enough for me to favor it over other hot pot restaurants in the area.

I loved the side bar appetizers (pickled cucumbers, tofu salad, cold spicy chicken feet). Meat was good; however the Australian beef tasted a little gamey. The tomato broth was very tomato-ey, in a good way.

Baby and family friendly. They also have late night and lunch specials!

Great hot pot for those new to the world of hot pot. Lots of menu options and the staff answered my questions about how it works. Lots of options in the sauce/side bar. The meat was cut fresh there near the sauce bar. Cuts were good, soup bases were full of flavor. Menu accommodates both English and Chinese speakers. You order via tablets provided by the staff.

Bro this place hits. The broth slaps, the meat quality is chef’s kiss, and the sauce bar?? insane. We came starving and left absolutely stuffed. 10/10 would come again when it’s cold out 🫶

Saddest paid condiment bar. SeaPot is 10x better and it's free. Haidilao paid condiment is next level compared to Liuyishou.

We got the pork bone soup base and it was a huge disappointment. Tasted like water, which we paid $11 for.

Haidilao allows plain water as a soup base. This place did not.

Fish ball were half filled. Fortune packets were lacking compared to the free ones from Mideya.

Not worth it, even though I wanted to love it. Ingredients didn't taste fresh. The broth flavors are one dimensional.
