Hands down the best steak house in the bay area! You don't have to deal with a long wait even if you have reservations or be within earshot of loud obnoxious people as I have experienced many times at House of Prime Rib. Great steak, great wine, great service and to top it off they have lobster on their menu which I don't see too often. Who can ask for anything more from a steakhouse?

4.5 stars, if I could. Delicious. The dad's steak was the best, the 49'ers NY strip. Perfect texture, perfectly cooked. Don't assume though that just because they are a reputable restaurant they use good well booze. Not true! Upgrade to a Grey Goose, the $2 is a small price to avoid the Gorton's nast.

This is by far one of my favorite restaurants in San Mateo, maybe even the Bay Area. My go to dish, the Pescado Al Lo Macho, is incredibly flavorful with the right texture, ample amount of seafood, and perfectly companied over a bed of white rice. I've had this dish many times in other Peruvian restaurants, none come close to this place.

Was ok. Price was high but that is expected. I came for the ceviche and was actually disappointed. I guess I had bad lemons, but the lemons/limes used had that bad taste you get from the RARE bad lemon/limes. Im going to give them a shot agsin once this covid lockdown is over.

I came here with a Peruvian guy who recommended it so it felt very legit, haha. We got juice drinks - chica morada and a passion fruit one. Both were delicious. The ceviche was really good, tasty, and fresh! I also tried the beef heart (also very good) along with a seafood rice dish and a potato dish. Both were also really good. The atmosphere was casual and family friendly. I'm a fan! I think it gets an extra star because of the company and experience, quite honestly.
