I came to the area for Tesla supercharge station . White waiting for the car get changed, walking around found this Korea food place. I had lunch here. Very impressed by the authentic Korean food and very good service. The small dishes are very good, the serving size is decent. I had spicy cold noodles, super good and satisfied, will try other dishes next time. Don’t miss this if you are in Foster City or nearby area. Highly recommended!

My go to korean restaurant. It is a small restaurant that changed the owner during pandamic. It is located in the Marina Plaza shopping center. It has been opened for I think more than 10 years. In the past, I visited this restaurant regurally. I am glad the offer banchan for free again. The food quality is still the same as before. I like the new menu of fried chicken. It is juicy and yummy. It is just not like the picture on the wall. Now they seem shorthanded, so be patience. It is a good place for authentic korean restaurants. The other dishes I like are korean armey Stew, which you need to call a head for ordering.

The soft tofu is delicious and the pork bulgogi is well seasoned.

I ordered a tofu soup with clam and Ramen (+$1). It served with a bowl of rice and small side dishes. Both food and services are good.

Family’s style restaurants. We came because of some Korean food cravings. Our favorite is tofu stew, so we ordered it in this new place we found. The tofu stew was good for my husband’s extra spicy, but my white tofu stew was quite bland. I expected no spicy tofu stew should at least have some flavors, like how other Korean restaurants do. This one was too plain so I asked for extra side dishes to eat with it. It was a disappointment because we always have to order one white tofu stew for our toddler to share with us.Other than that, the banchan was okay. Services were good. If you pay cash, you get 5% discounts.Vegetarian options: They sure have some veggie optionsParking: Free plaza parking lotsKid-friendliness: Kid’s high chairs and utensilsWheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair entrance and roadside

I always have tofu soup every time i go to korean restos, this is the first time i had it with NO FLAVOR at all. Their tteokbokki is so hard like they rushed to cook. Their seafood pancake was the only thing i ordered thats good. It has the crunch even tho its a bit burnt. The black bean noodle doesn taste like a black bean noodle. My son who loves to eat it had 2 bites and he’s done. This is my first and last.

Rip-off, they didn't provide any side dishes for the $30 (Godunguh Gui) broiled mackerel. Don't order delivery from them with Uber Eats.

Ordered a takeout and the lady got a part of my order wrong: Wanted purple rice instead of white rice (she even asked). Not a big deal. However, she didn't wrap the spicy pork plastic tray in a plastic so the oil didn't leak (previously, they've done that). Giving them a 3 star since the lady seemed to dropped the ball. I'll give them a shot again but I rather not order here again if they continue to not do so.

My friend and I were craving soondobu (soft tofu soup) and we decided to try Myung Dong Tofu Cabin. Upon arrival, I could feel the warmth of the staff and the service was very attentive. We ordered soondobu (soft tofu soup) and seafood pajeon (seafood pancake), and I was surprised about how tasty both items were. It's so rare to find pajeon that's crispy outside and soft inside, and I was very impressed! We definitely enjoyed the food.

My boyfriend and I came here on a whim. We were trying to go to Soon's Tofu and KBBQ close by, but they were closed. We've had better tofu soup elsewhere. We were craving soup that day and maybe it didn't help that we came in with empty stomachs. We ordered Tteokbokki, Kimchi Tofu Soup and Beef Tofu Soup. They all tasted okay. The soups came with fresh eggs on the side, the waiter will crack the eggs for you and let it cook in the soup. I felt like my soup wasn't bubbling anymore, so the egg didn't cook completely. My boyfriend didn't like the tteokbokki because the sauce was too runny. The barley tea they serve was free! I did like the tea, it was tasty. The banchan tasted okay, my boyfriend and I liked the radish banchan the most. The kimchi tasted really fishy and maybe didn't look fresh?

Great tofu soup and marinated pork bul gogi. Food was a bit oily but super delicious and well balanced with veggies.

Updated Review 2023This korean restaurant hits the spot in flavor and price. Ordered yuk gae gang ($20) which had great flavor with depth and impressed by how much veggie and meat were in it. In recent years (prolly due to pandemic and economy), there weren't much meat in the food when I ordered Jaja myun (black bean noodles). So I'm really impressed and super stoked by this turnaround. Had good and plentiful side dishes that were free (no extra charge which they previously did in the past). I asked if there was new ownership and they said no. Prices remain same and competitive in the area. I'm really excited with the new improvements. Will definitely be returning if they maintain this standard of food portion, flavor, and pricing.
