The outside may be shady but I guarantee that the quality of the food is not. The wheelcakes are a one-of-a-kind that I've never seen any restaurant sell before. Due to COVID-19, they only make them fresh on-demand now. Takes about 5-10 minutes to make, and you can't call or order online ahead.
For the custard one, I took it out of the fridge after it's thawed and followed their instruction (350F for 10 minutes), and then I toasted both sides for 2 extra minutes for crispy surface. Since I grew up in Taiwan eating these fresh, I hate eating soft ones. It came out wonderfully. I might update after I tried their red bean and matcha ones since I ordered their variety pack. We drove all the way from Fremont to check this place out. The shop was a bit hard to find. It's actually inside a Poke place, so don't look for a sign that says, Oh My wheel cake. We tried taro, matcha, red beans, and custard. Our favorites were Matcha and custard. Definitely pop them in the oven briefly to warm it up a bit before serving. We got 4 cakes for about $20. The 3 cakes assorted box is only available online.
