This place has been around ever since I can remember. I'm in my 40's mind you. This is a San Mateo gem. Love their fresh food, lunch meats and service. It gets super busy for lunch, but it's worth the wait.

Late post from a few weeks ago. Funny enough, even though this place is called the Ravioli House I always find myself ordering a sandwich from there. The pastrami sandwiches are really good and the bread they use is good as well. Sourdough is my ideal match for pastrami but from time to time I'll enjoy the dutch crunch as well. If you want a satisfying sandwich for lunch. I highly recommend this place. Staff is always friendly as well.

They make great sandwiches here, no doubt, but we always come for the great ravioli and vodka sauce. The meat sauce is a favorite of our son's, and doesn't skimp on the meat. Staff is always super friendly, as well.

Great local lunch spot. Good value and good portion sizes. I would recommend the meat ravioli with vodka or pesto sauce. All raviolis come with a side of cheesy garlic bread. ?

Solid food at the Ravioli House once again. Went with a group so we got to share. My favorite is the pulled pork sandwich which is really well done e BBQ. The Ravioli was good but I found the pesto a bit too salty.

Best deli in downtown San Mateo.My favorites are roast turkey or pastrami made fresh daily. The rosemary chicken and roast beef are made fresh daily in house as well. The also have a nice selection of salads, ravioli/pasta for lunch or take home. They offer Ravioli cooked and uncooked along with pre made sauce that is excellent. Do yourself a favor and try the Ravioli House.
Such a neighborhood gem. I've only ever had their ravioli, and it's so good I haven't deviated from it to try other things on their menu lol. My favorite order is the meat ravioli with bolognese. It might be basic but it's so incredibly delicious. Service is quick and friendly. The interior is simple and no-frills since they do a lot of takeout rather than dine-in business. However, I like to dine in and eat the ravioli when it's freshly prepared. They give you a side of cheesy bread which is always perfectly toasted and wonderful for mopping up leftover sauce. Love this place!

The Ravioli here is definitely well made. Over expectations. Portions are big and actually I would not mind receiving half the portion for the same price. Perhaps you could give the option to receive half portion and donate the other half to someone in need?
