We went out to dinner on a Saturday night at Porterhouse. We enjoyed wine with dinner. For our starters we had their spianch salad and french onion soup. We enjoyed steak for dinner. For dessert, we loved their chocolate mousse. Service was very good.

Went here last night with friends and had a great meal. Everyone shared small plates but I had the filet which was cooked perfectly. I highly recommend this place if you are in San Mateo. Service was spot on also.

Very good dry aged steak! Cant fail the restaurant for their quality of meats, perfectly dry aged beef, offered in various traditional cuts. Unfortunately our new york strip came overcooked whilst all our friends had theirs cooked to perfection - thus no excellent rating this time round. Great soufflés for desert!
