Stay away with this horrible restaurant. We ordered a big list of items yesterday evening to have a great evening unfortunately ended up by throwing everything to garbage. Nothing was fresh and everything seemed to be a week's old food.

FRUED. Charges more than the menu price and does not even refund or compensate. The waiter was talking on phone while serving food. One employee was taking his dirty bike from right beside the table while we were eating. Bad ambience. Rude staff. Not authentic Indian food.

Heyyyyyy this spot is good...pricy...but good. The Chili Cheese Naan was good, the fried chicken Samosas was good...the lentils was good...this place is an Indian Hipsters dream. For me it was just good food. Perfect place to take someone who wears skinny jeans or who went to Coachella or who is a weekend vegan. Enjoy

The restaurant was a little hard to find because the sign does not have the same name, but the food was good, especially the desserts as was the tea. The meals were generally spicy so if your tolerance is low, make sure to order yogurt and enjoy.

We had been to this place a few years back and liked it then. We recently went back last week and were totally disappointed! We didn't order very complex dishes- just a masala dosa and kothu parotta. The potato filling and the kothu parotta were very bland. The service was prompt though.
I personally don't like this place because of the location it is in. It has to be located in the worst possible location ever where parking is horrible and next to impossible! I ordered the chicken biryani which was not good at all in my opinion. The chicken was okay but the rice it was in was just horrible. I'd suggest going to another place to eat instead of this place. I will say that their restrooms are very clean to my surprise and the server was courteous.

Service is quick. Serving sizes are quite big. Recommend Vijaywada Biryani and medhu Wada. Kids cheese dosa was just ok.

Horrible food!!! The Karaikudi Chicken had 6 small pebble size pieces. The Hyderabadi Biryani has little bone pieces stuck to the rice instead of spices. I called to complain about the food and the lady said sorry that's how we cook. So basically F&$@ off. I am surprised how your hospitality is complimenting the food. Both trashy.

Nice, small spot in San Mateo. Came with some friends for dinner on Saturday: hungry and craving some good curry. We ordered vegetarian samosas to share (2 per order for ~$5) and I ordered the eggplant with rice (curry). The samosas came out hot and were absolutely delicious. The outer shell had a nice crunch and the stuffing was the the typical potato and veggie medley (so good). The main meal was a very good portion for 9 dollars. You get a big bowl of white rice and a separate dish with the eggplant curry, which you can then mix yourself. The eggplant was tender and very enjoyable. The rest of the curry was alright, some good flavor but overall just ok. I was definitely very full and very happy afterwards. If you go, definitely order the samosas!
