After many years of hearing about this place, I finally gave it a shot after seeing it on door dash. I ordered several meals for my family of 4. After waiting over an hour, I get an email saying that the order was canceled because the place is closed. This totally threw off our cozy Sunday indoors. When you close, make yourself inactive on DoorDash so that you're not inconveniencing people. No one else is open for us to order. So, Cereal and movies it is.

This place does not have dine in or outdoor seating as of April 30, 2021 and the food was very cold by the time we made it home.Very under seasoned. I will not be returning to this place again .

The foos was great, made to order and hot! My husband had the shrimp po boy and he loved it. I had the shrimp and fries and it was amazing. Will definitely recommend!

Ordered the six piece fried chicken, received 6 small party drummettes. No flats. Seasoned well to the heavens, delicious . But, no flats? C'mon ... not a great bang for the price ($7.75).

Delicious soul food!!!! I'm from Richmond and this place has been GOOD for decades. I'm wondering if it's still owned by the same people. My daughter's dad used to bring me here, good, local soul food. He passed away recently and as I'm grieving I'm making connections to the good times. I decided to order some comfort food and it did just that! BOMB.COM

I tried this mediocre place for the first time a couple of days ago and they managed to meet my low expectations only because the lady was kind enough to offer to bring my food to the car and even accepted payment without me having to leave my vehicle. Today when I returned looking for a quick breakfast, I was taken aback by the rude customer service over the phone. Clearly this was not the same woman who took my order last time, but I ignored this lady's attitude assuming she was having a bad day. When I asked if she could bring my food outside like her coworker did the last time I was there, she made an unnecessary rude remark along the line of I needed to come inside. When I came inside she was hostile, aggressive and lacked basic decency and customer service. Long story short I did not get my food due to her disgusting attitude and and hostile behavior. Upon leaving this review I also noted their low health score and 7 violations. Clearly her horrendous attitude was a reflection of this disgusting workplace. Highly don't recommend.

First time eating from there, and I will definitely order from there again. I ordered the chicken and waffles with scrambled eggs, grits and a BLT. This is by far my favorite chicken and waffles. Everything was cooked to perfection and the flavors were spot on. The worker who rang me up was very polite and friendly.

Amazing food! The chicken and fish were some of the best we've had, the Mac and cheese was creamy and well seasoned, and the greens were very tasty as well. It's great that I'm within walking distance so we can pop over anytime.
