I needed an overnight trip for work and decided to stay outside of CoSB. The location is everything you need for a nice stay. The grounds are very nice. The staff made my check-in effortless. My room, #11 is in a well traveled area and was noisy at times while guests were milling over to the shops and restaurants nearby. I will probably stay again but will request a room that is not located near the office.

Rooms: The smell in the room is horrid. It affected my breathing and gave me a severe headache. I thought I was being poisoned.

Been here several times now and it's good value for money for this area. Some of the upstairs rooms have a bit of an ocean view. Great location and friendly staff . Lovely and quiet and will be coming back. Probably time for some new window treatments as they are rather dated but overall a good clean room for a good price in a great location

This place was quiet, clean, a quick Lyft to State Street. We ate at Jeannine's down the street for breakfast and lunch. Thanks for the lobby coffee & tea, we needed it! Bed was comfy! Love the pretty fountain and huge succulents. Def gave us those classic Cali vibes!

The room had a nice ambiance, and though it wasn't the most budget-friendly option, it offered relative affordability in comparison to certain neighboring establishments. My room afforded a delightful ocean view, and the bed provided a restful night's sleep. The pool maintained a comfortable temperature, and the overall cleanliness was impeccable. Our room was pleasant, equipped with standard amenities, albeit without air conditioning. However, the ceiling fan did a commendable job of cooling the room when the door and window were briefly left open. The staff were exceptionally amiable, and there was ample parking available. Numerous dining options were conveniently situated in the vicinity. If you get a chance go to Oliver’s. Excellent vegetarian food with a very cool vibe and music. Saw Chris from the Sopranos there. All in all, it was a delightful stay at this hotel.Food & drinks: lots of great restaurants in a short walking distance.

The hotel was adorable. The room was quiet and super cute. The bed was comfortable. The pool was warm and everything was very clean. We will definitely stay here again if we come back through this way.

What an adorable little slice of heaven! I took my daughter on a quick getaway and we stayed here three nights. Very badly needed to de stress and check out! Its location is perfect right in walking distance to all shops, dining and beautiful Butterfly Beach. The rooms are small and so is the bathroom. But it is full of true old school Santa Barbara style. And there’s really not much reason to have a big space when there’s so much to do and see right outside your door.Fresh coffee all the time in the office lobby. Extremely cheerful, friendly and helpful staff.Stunning landscape with fragrant flowers all around you. We felt safe and comfortable. Very reasonably priced also. We will stay here again. And can’t wait to go again! Thank you for being here. Accommodating and helpful with letting me book last minute over the phone. Good old fashioned customer service. Boy, did I need that.Thank you for a stay so great, I cried on the day we had to check out. 10/10!Great parking too!

Coast Village Inn is centrally located on Coast Village Road in Montecito. It is within walking distance to dining, shops, and the beach. Our room was spacious and quiet. The beds were comfortable and the Keurig coffee maker in the room was much appreciated. Very good coffee is also available in the office along with filtered water. The staff are very friendly and willing to assist. The bathroom in the room could use a remodel and the window screens could stand some repair, but that did not detract from our most enjoyable stay. The room rate was also reasonable given its stellar location.

Unfortunately no stars isn't an option. Do not waste your time booking here. Had to cancel the day before and when I phoned to cancel I was told "no problem". Was never informed they were still going to charge me. When I called back to speak with John the manager on duty I was basically shut down from the beginning. Never have I encountered such poor customer service and felt not heard. I was interrupted and when he began to raise his voice I called him out and he laughed. Not worth supporting a business that treats customers in this manner. You're better off staying somewhere where you're treated like a human.

Great, friendly front desk staff and grounds well-maintained. Outside of the central Montecito location, not much else to recommend. Small, chemically smelly rooms in what is just a glorified road motel. Ancient carpet that's scary to walk barefoot on. Tiny bathrooms. In desperate need of upgrades.
