I enjoyed another wonderfully relaxed experience in this "greatly kept treasure" in the heart of Montecito. The Staff goes beyond, it is immaculate and feels very safe and secure in these trying times we "are all in together".I look forward to next time...a little slice of heaven...THANK YOU!!
Love this place. Was supposed to go again this year but it'll have to wait. Great staff, great location at the right price close to good food places
This place is great. I was quite impressed. Rooms were nice sized and pretty spacious. The rooms were soooooo clean and that was especially important these days with our Covid Pandemic. Easy parking and great location. Staff was super nice, friendly and very helpful. I would definitely return.
The location was perfect and close to the restaurant for breakfast which was also delicious. There was construction going on but it wasn't disruptive to our stay. We stayed in room 33 and the room was comfy and clean. We couldn't have asked for better service as well. We will stay here again for sure.
Horrible! Today I drove up from LA to visit my family and I wanted to check into this hotel that I’ve stayed at before. The drive took about two hours and I really needed to use the restroom before checking in. After I got out of the restroom I was approached by a member of the staff who said his name is John Carlo (he was Latino.) He said he’s going to call the police because I was trespassing! I kindly told him that I was just about to check in but he said I’m lying! I tried to explain the situation but he was so rude and starting yelling at me saying that I was not welcome here and to never come back! I have stayed in hotels all over the world and I’ve never been treated with such disrespect, rudeness, and harassment. I will never stay here again!
A wonderful hotel and in a great location. Their mattresses are so comfortable, I got the best sleep in a long time. Plus they have free roasted coffee in the lobby and they are steps away from two of the best restaurants in Montecito.
Solid, affordable hotel in the middle of a great stretch of restaurants and shops. Rooms are a little small, but staff is great.
My husband and I had a bad experience here. Checked in for the weekend to discover the bathroom was so tiny you could not even sit straight on the toilet without knees rammed into the wall (we are tall but not that tall). The next morning we asked kindly if we could be moved to a different room. Despite the fact that half the rooms were empty, we were told no. The shower was also terribly small. I'm not sure which was worse - the tiny bathroom or the rudeness of the staff. I would never stay here again. Avoid, avoid.
clean, good location. AC was not very good though. bathroom very small and the room was small but quite delightful. Very comfortable. quiet. lovely location, very convenient for the town of Montecito.
Pros: clean room, comfortable bed, Close to good restaurants and shopping. Good TV channels selection. Cons: no coffee maker or microwave in the room. Poor con breakfast selection and quality. All in all not bad but nothing special.
Just found out that this location closed permanently on Sunday, May 19, 2019. What a bummer! This was such a nice spot to stop & enjoy a coffee because the seating area was really nice & the coffee was great. We went there frequently & will miss it!
It an old motel that was "upgraded". By that I mean, they probably bought some dinged up used furniture from another hotel, and not enough of it. The chair seats sagged. They didn't upgrade the wiring. Everything was plugged into extension cords. The housekeeper yak outside of the guest rooms at the tops of their lungs all day. And all of this cost only $1000 in the off season of 4 days and 3 nights. Skip this hotel.
Such a treat to walk in and be received in a happy and helpful way. Celeste is a treasure!
The staff at this Coffee Bean & Tea are always incredible, but I was compelled to write a review after the excellent service the manager, Karl, gave last week. I needed to order a bunch of boxes for an early morning event and he walked me through the process with patience and care. The next morning, he was there and everything was ready. He even helped me carry everything to the car. But the topper was that he graciously gave us non-dairy milk which was greatly appreciated for this environmentally friendly group. Karl, thank you!!
I love coming here to work. It's so spacious and there's so much variety in the seating options. The only con is a MAJOR one. They desperately need to replace some of these outlets!! They are loose, so whenever I try to plug in, my laptop/phone chargers usually fall out of the outlet and hit the floor. I have had to jam a chair up against my charger to keep it in the outlet.. I don't know why so many of the outlets have this issue in there. If this problem was solved - 5 stars easily!
