The G.O.A.T. breakfast sandwich is the most delicious thing I've ever tasted! I am unable to order anything else. Homemade biscuit surrounding total deliciousness.

The second I walked in, felt like home. Thank you for all your smiles and helpful service. I had your egg scramble special today w arugula instead of bread, because I saved that for the donut. Hands down, I love your place! I wanted every donut displayed, but I’ll be back for another!

Yogurt bowl was delicious. Everything but the Bagel donut was interesting. Hubby’s “The Goat” biscuit sandwich was ok..sorta drowned in goat cheese and seemed to need meat or some other texture. Atmosphere is cute!

We stopped just to have a look and ended up buying merch, we love these donuts so much!!!!!! 10/10 out of this world!!! We're from the east coast and these are better than anything around for miles. It's a must stop. Try their everything bagel donuts, it's our favorite.

Great specialty donut place. Great service. Wish they had more flavors. Tried the mexican hot chocolate and dirty chai. I like simple donuts so the dirty chai was the way to go.

Unique donut flavors!I can't decide if I liked the cake donut or the soft and fluffy brioche donuts more, but my two favorites were the dirty chai and pear crisp so I guess brioche had a slight edge up. The maple pumpkin cake donut wasn't far behind. My bf's favorite was the pecan pie which he thought was very buttery. All of them were decorated so beautifully. Service was fast and friendly too. A very nice treat!

Hook and Press has been on my list for quite sometime! And today was the day! There's nothing like filling your sweet cravings with decadent donuts! We tried the Mexican hot chocolate, dirty chai, and browned butter. The Mexican hot had marshmallow fluff on top and chocolate cream inside. There was a little bit too much crepe inside for my likings but the flavor of hot chocolate was definitely there. Between the browned butter and the dirty chai....the dirty chai was definitely mine and the Hubby's favorite. As there is no espresso in the glaze or donut itself, the taste of chai was there. It was everything I hope it was going to be. The service was excellent. The gentleman who took our donut order was patient with my 10 and 5 year old as they were so indecisive on the flavor they wanted You are able to sit indoors and they have an outside patio. They also have other breakfast food items for ordering and I will be back to try some more things out.

My friend Sarah B is the best. While the rest of us were running the Santa Barbara Half Marathon or 5K, she did a donut run and greeted us at the finish line with the most delicious post-race bites ever. She got a selection which our vacation crew thoroughly enjoyed. So many interesting and tasty options that sharing was definitely the way to go so we could quarter them to create our own samplers. My favorites were the samoa and the everything bagel. Yes, everything bagel. Great if you lean more towards savory than sweet. The blackberry bourbon rosemary was also quite good, although I would have liked a bit more bourbon flavor. I guess I would always like more bourbon flavor. Hook and Press will remain on the "must visit" list for any and all future Santa Barbara weekend getaways!

Had a craving for a Belly-Bullet fix on a chilly Wednesday morning vacation day in Santa Barbara. I was traveling with my pair of Hooligans, and a stop at Hook & Press seemed like just the ticket. Arriving here I had no problem finding parking; my luck continued when I found that there was no line - weekdays are the best days to check out new places :-)There were plenty of tables both inside and out, so I took a seat inside to figure out a good batch of donuts to try. The location is clean and well-maintained, and the donuts looked nothing short of amazing - decisions, decisions...After waiting for coffees to wash our donuts down with, we dug in and tried the donuts. The flavors were unusual and tasty, the service was relaxed and attentive, and we throughly enjoyed the experience. I must confess though that I was a bit disappointed with the weight and texture of the donuts; they weren't fluffy and light like the donuts I'm used to - these had a consistency closer to bread than anything else.Despite the unexpected consistency, it wasn't hard to get attached to a couple of the donut flavors. My favorite one from my first visit was the Mexican Hot Chocolate (spiced chocolate pastry cream, cinnamon sugar, marshmallow fluff).
