Outstanding buche, tripa, and chile verde tacos. If I lived here would be a regular visitor. Worth the walk from the cruise ship to the Funk Zone.

Dined at Mony's, where their carne asada burrito was so memorable, I got to enjoy it twice--once on the way in and once on the way out. While the experience added 'projectile' to my dining vocab, it's a performance I'll be skipping in the future. Two stars for the unforgettable exit.

An amazing local find that could easily be overlooked if you don’t know it’s there - but man is it worth the visit! The food is great; fresh, delicious, and authentic. Classic bean and cheese burrito and chips & guac were a perfect pairing for me; highly recommended. Our only advice - visit when the weather is nice, as there is no indoor seating.

Amazing Mexican food! The carnitas taco was phenomenal. They give you tons of freshly made chips in each bag — enough to try all of their fun, unique salsas! Try the pineapple salsa, peanut salsa, pistachio salsa, and roasted pepper if you can. The barbacoa grilled burrito was delicious — the barbacoa was pull-apart tender which I loved. The meat had a strong spice/smokiness to it. If you’re not into that, get the carnitas instead. Friendly and fast service with a bunch of tables outside to enjoy the nice weather. Highly recommend!

Hidden gem! A must try and a salsa lovers dream! Great service and yummy food. I'm glad we made a stop while visiting SB before coming home.

I have eaten here before, but wanted to bring my friend to try it. I came to Santa Barbara for my birthday. My friend snuck in and asked them to sing happy birthday. They came out banging their wooden spoon to the pots and sang happy birthday. Such a happy moment. Now the food, there is nothing close to the chilaquiles anywhere else. It's huge and perfection. The red sauce is hot; green is mild. I went with red bc I like spicy and my friend went with green. The atmosphere is so nice and so California. There is only outside seating. If you come at 10:30 am, it's best. The music was a vibe. Food 100/10

It's a delicious dive that serves quality Mexican food. Who doesn't like carbing up while brew'n up in the FunkZone.

Everything was perfect!! The food, the staff, and the nice outdoor seating area, so you can enjoy the beautiful weather. It was my friend's birthday and they definitely surprised her by singing happy birthday. I don't think they usually do this, but they were happy and willing to make the request happen. This is the best chilaquiles I've ever eaten. Great value! You definitely get your money's worth! I couldn't even finish the bowl, so I was sad.... because who wants to leave good food on the table! I'm looking forward to coming back the next time I visit Santa Barbara! Do yourself a favor and just go! . Thanks again to the crew who made this day special.

My all time FAVORITE burrito in Santa Barbara. I almost always get the barbacoa, but all of their meats are distinctly phenomenal. My friend loves tripas tacos and said this was the best she ever had. The staff is always so friendly and efficient! So many great and unique salsas to choose from, my favorites being the pineapple, avocado, and habanero.
