Stopped by and ordered two sandwiches—the Hoagie and Dip the Tip. Very bland and boring. Hard to praise a sandwich with such low quality ingredients. The portions are huge, however. Will not be coming back. If you don’t care about flavor but want a lot of food, this is the place for you. Very surprised to see the wall of accolades. Quality must have tanked over the years.

Nice local location on Mitchell torena and delevina. Can't remember when I had a meatball sub that was that good. They also have a brand of soda called tractor which was also very good and a nice change from the usual brands. Service very good, very friendly atmosphere in a great residential location homie, warm.

A cute spot with a lot of potential. Watch out though— the prices shown here on google under ‘menu’ are a good 3 bucks or so off of the actual prices. I wasn’t impressed with the flavor of the Viet nam sandwich but maybe other things on the menu are better. Would try again but was a bit let down by the prices

This place never disappoints! South Coast Deli is one of my favorite spots when I'm craving a sammie. All the three locations in Santa Barbara mirror each-other when it comes to their meals and service. One of my favorites to pick is the Mexican Cesar Salad, it's built for two (enormous)! I love it by itself or with chicken added. My other go to is the turkey, bacon, avocado sub. You have the choice of bread options. I am a sourdough gal but the last time I was there I tried the french roll. Half was plenty, I was so glad my bestie was there to help! What I also love about South Coast is that you can order online if you're pressed for time. It's so convenient to place the order and pay it ahead of time. It's a local favorite and definitely worth the wait!

The "When in Rome" sandwich with sage almond pesto was so flavorful! I'm full now and still reminiscing over the first bite. We enjoyed a beautiful Cobb salad that came with a tangy, bright green vinaigrette.

6 stars if it were an option! This place consistently delivers quality sandwiches and salads with a smile. What's really impressive is that even when this location is slammed, they always deliver a great result. Highly recommend, and special shout out to Ritchie and the entire team for the excellent customer service

I love this place, I stop here every time I'm in town! The salads are SO good, the Fowl Play and Buffalo Blue are my personal favorites.
I had to stop eating my sandwich half way to write this review. South coast has always been our go to sandwich spot for lunch but today we tried their breakfast for the first time and WOW!!! Both of our sandwiches were absolutely amazing and the prices are impossible to beat, especially in Santa Barbara. If you're looking for a quick and casual brunch spot in town, go to south coast!!!

I was calling in an order at 3pm today and placed on hold while driving to the store from home. I was able to make it there, park and walk inside the restaurant and still no one was on the other line answering the phone. There was a small line, it was semi-busy. I proceeded to walk up to the 2 cashiers to order, both of them decided it was a good time to walked away and start cleaning the store, while me and other customers waited in line to order. Their condescending tone when called out was the silver lining and the reason for writing the review. No apology or smile. Lol what kind of circus is management running here. Clowns.

Excellent deli with outdoor seating. I loved my Mexican Caesar salad and my husband had the Marin chicken sandwich. Fresh and well done flavors. Highly recommend.

The sandwiches are so good here especially the breakfast samis. Also, my other favorite lunch combo is the Vietnamese sami and ice coffee. Truly an added bonus to this place is the service. Everyone here is on it, thoughtful, and good. The manager, Tony keeps this place hopping and some how manages to remember all his regulars and just takes such good care of people.
