Delicious French toast and turkey sandwiches! Coffee could be stronger. Wonderful friendly and attentive staff!

State Street Coffee was an excellent coffee shop, however they closed permanently about 6 months ago. The new shop is called Jeannine's Restaurant & Bakery. It is also excellent and has a good selection of coffee drinks available and the pastries are excellent. Jeannine’s has a few locations in Santa Barbara and is a locals favorite. The line at the waterfront location can be long, especially on weekends, but moves along at a steady pace.

I was feeling charmed and assuaged when I tasted their coffee and red velvet cake. I love the taste since it isn't so sweet. I thank your staff for serving my request following 3 minutes. It was my first an ideal opportunity to visit the spot, however I was so fulfilled and cheerful. Tremendous because of every one of you! You are energetically prescribed to my companions in general!

Looks like crazy tourists trap. 20 people long line out of the door on Sunday morning. I walked away

This coffee shop is located on a busy street with a number of restaurants. My iced chestnut praline latte coffee was tasty, but not quite up to par. The waffle, on the other hand, was delectably tasty. If you're on the go and in need of a snack, I recommend dropping by for a waffle and a cup of coffee.

There was a long line but the coffee and pastries were worth the wait!

Incredible coffee and even more incredible service. This was our favorite coffee spot in Santa Barbra and had amazing pastries. Such a warm and welcome feeling from the staff who remembered our names and would come out to greet us in the lobby every morning.

On a recent trip to Santa Barbara this was one of the closer coffee locations to the hotel. Covid protocols were in place and it was great to see both staff and patrons doing the right thing. The staff where so friendly and kind. I noticed there was a drink that included lavender syrup flavor. I was up for trying something new and I'm so glad I did. I had a lavender latte and it was beyond delicious. I was so impressed with this that I actually got on Amazon and ordered up some for home use. It's been a regular go to. On a second stop we opted to have breakfast as well. The meals were well priced and the portions were generous. I want surprised that the food was good but nothing to seek out in the future. Very basic and simple but none the less provided a good foundations to get on with the day. Seating options included both indoor and outdoor and both times we opted for the outdoors. The seating was plentiful and it was nice to take in the ocean air and the ocean view. While this would not be a place I would seek out in the future it's certainly worth a stop if your in the area and want a well prepared beverage or a simple, convenient breakfast.

We were so bummed out that every breakfast spot was booked up (Covid happening still so reservations were required), so we thought we'll at least get some coffee and a muffin to tide us over until lunch. Too bad we get to State Street and they had boom they had tons of to go breakfast items.... And they were delicious! I had the sausage scramble with goat cheese-- woah mama! It was top 5 breakfast at a restaurant all time. My son and wife had waffles with strawberries and even that was fresh and yummy. Skip the bougie restaurants around the pier and pop into this gem. There may be a line but they are quick and you will not be disappointed.

Decent cup of java (4 shot small latte in my case) and a tasty muffin. Many here seem to enjoy the breakfast though I did not partake. Across the street from beach makes it a choice location.

This coffee shop is my go-to spot for passing the time. The staves were extremely welcoming and pleasant.

Very nice little coffee spot overlooking the beach. The food was fantastic and the staff was very friendly. Also, they are pet friendly. Huge plus for me as I brought my pup with me. I will definitely recommend to others visiting the area and will make it a point to stop here next time I'm in town. I really enjoyed sitting outside on the outdoor patio. Nice start to my weekend getaway!

The coffee tasted fine, but was weak. I only went once and searched for a better cup of joe elsewhere on my visit.
