Great piano bar with fantastic piano players/singers. Too bad they don't allow open mic singing

Really Bad vibes, if you're under 50 don't come here. Seriously you won't have a good time.

We were charged $10 a person just to walk in. We saw an open couch, asked someone nearby if it was free, was told "yeah" then 15 min later, an employee kicked us out saying it was "reserved" even though there was no indication. Then, the folks that sat there gave me a dirty look the rest of the time. ????

$10 cover charge, piano wasn't super great. Employees told us we could sit wherever and we found a seat but were later kicked out because they told us that area was reserved even though there was no indication it was and we even asked someone in that section if the seat was taken and they said "no it's free." Then we got kicked out of the area after 15 minutes and THEN they blocked off it off. After, people in that area stared at as if we did something wrong when they were the ones who said we could sit there in the first place. I understand people pay a lot for these reservations and I respect that but weird they wouldn't be upfront about that and then make us feel like we did something wrong when we had no idea. Weird vibes overall and not worth the charge to get inside.

Absolutely entertaining and filled with a fun energy. Hubby and I stopped in while celebrating our 6 year anniversary. We didn't try a whole lot form the menu, just some 805s and gummy bear shots (). The pianist was excellent and played a handful of favorites. Waitress was on it with drinks and checking in on us, and she did it with a crowd of bachelorette parties and many people coming and going. We will go back for sure!

Had an awesome time at the red piano. Went for the live music and it did not disappoint. Service was super friendly.Noticed the next morning that I left my wallet here. Was able to get in contact with the bar through instagram DMs. They where super responsive and I was able to get my wallet back within couple hours of messaging them.

Had a great time performing at the red piano- I love the atmosphere...as you walk in you're greeted by a friendly hostess and live music- they were good too! Also at the entrance friendly security and a cool hanging red piano- I was there for the backyard comedy- what a great patio, fast service, and fun crowd!

I cannot resist a piano bar. I love the live music, a piano man who can play any song requested, possibly even with his own twist on the song and a dance floor or plenty of seating if you just like to watch. The drinks are your typical sweet bar drinks but the music is entertaining and that's what you come here for. I really enjoyed the gentleman playing the evening we were there. He was lively and had a great voice.

This place had a fun and lively atmosphere that my husband and I enjoyed. The service for the drinks was really good and quick. The only thing I didn't like was that that we tipped $20 for two song requests and neither of our songs got played, not did the guy ask if we could request a different one if he didn't like them. That is not something I would normally expect, except I saw him do this for someone. Also, when we got there it was not as crowded, so it appeared as if everyone who requested a song got it played. It was still a fun time, I would just be careful how much you tip initially for a song that might not get played. Especially in light of the cover charge and already getting drinks.

Apparently the regular was out sick but we went on 2 different nights and the Temps were still great and made for a super enjoyable evening. We went on a Wed and Thurs and it was likely a little more mellow than the weekends.

We were at Red Piano Sunday 1/21 and a lovely young lady danced with my wife. I wished I had gotten her name and email, and regret not doing so. She was special and my wife loved the dancing! Piano entertainer was extraordinaire - and fun. Highly recommend! Tim Corbett, Dana Point timcor53@

My wife and I drove up to Santa Barbara on Sunday 1/21 to celebrate her birthday. We fortunately ventured into the Red Piano on Sunday afternoon. We sat adjacent to the piano and a group of 6 or 7 lovely young ladies were dancing up a storm, along with the sing along. They invited my wife to join them. One tall and attractive lady in particular was very kind to Candy, and had fun dancing with her. I wish I had gotten her contact info - I regret doing so! She was special. The Red Piano provided us with a very fun time, excellent live music entertainment, and good drinks. I highly recommend The Red Piano. Tim Corbett, Dana Point [email protected]
