Great to eat by the harbor, but the food is not “excellent” as others have written considering the price point.Much closer to Dennys than fine dining, which is ok, but call a spade a spade — you’re paying for a nice view and a good profit margin.

Amazing place at the Santa Cruz harbor. We got the recommendation by a local during our whale watching tour which departs right next to Aldo’s. I saw it already when we arrived and it looked quite ordinary but smelled really good.This is a snack place but with outstanding food. I have had fish and chips at multiple places but none tasted as good as the one from Aldo and the Cioppino that my wife had was so rich of flavor and had a lot of seafood on it. Love this place. Simplicity at its best!!

Good food and strong drinks, but it is one of the slowest places I have ever been to. Probably why the drinks are so strong. I recommend it if you're not under any time constraints. Just park in the street and walk down to avoid playing to park. The walk down will give you time to mentally prepare for the slowest service on record. Cheers!

Located right on the harbor, in Santa Cruz. Great place to dine and take in the views, they only have outdoor seating these days. Way back when, in 2016, they were located on the water not far from this location. Super small cozy little restaurant with a few outdoor seats, so you were right on the water, loved that little location. The new spot is just as good and you are right at the water and can see all the boats.I have only ever come here for breakfast, and today I had something from the lunch menu. The burger was delicious, I added cheese and bacon to it with fries and a side of Ranch. They serve Cokes in a bottle so I had to get one of those. Very happy with my meal, and the atmosphere is nice and relaxing.

Food was good but not necessarily worth the wait time. We arrived at 12:30ish and waited for over an hour to get seated. The food then took forever to be served. The sea food fettuccine is delicious. I specially liked the cheesy bread served with it. Mahi mahi tacos are ok but nothing exceptional.

A nice seafood place with all outdoor tables overlooking the marina. The cioppino had all the crab meat taken out from the shells already and was very tasty, and the Fisherman's Platter not bad. Many customers brought along their dogs. Note that we have to park in the visitor side of the parking lot and we have to use the machine to pay for parking. It doesn't have its own bathrooms as it is just a shack and a trailer. We have to use the marina's public bathrooms.Parking: $1.25 per hour
