Stopped off for lunch on Saturday. Amazingly good baby backs (meat fell off the bone, perfectly sauced), came with great french fries & cole slaw. My wife & I split it - perfect! Very friendly staff, with hand sanitizer freely available. Everyone appropriately masked, and even gloved. We love the Crow-s Nest!

Always good! Best calamari, brown rolls are the best, eat them while they're hot!!! Crow's nest beach market is so good. I love their sausage breakfast sandwich with avocado. Turkey club is also so so good!

Got the calamari, artichoke dip, crab/shrimp Louie salad and the Chinese chicken salad, along with a bottle of Chardonnay. Outdoor seating was lovely, service was great, and food was delicious! Great experience all around.

This place was recommended by a friend. A small group of friends and I drove from San Francisco to get a change of scenery and stayed at The Dream Inn which was about a mile or so away.I highly recommend calling ahead of time for reservations. All restaurants in the area pretty much require it because they are only allowing a certain amount of ppl to dine inside/outside. Tons of parking onsite. There is a fee to park but because the machine was broken, we didn't have to pay.View is gorgeous, loved sitting outdoors by the window and watching the sunset. There are outdoor heaters so you stay warm and cozy.Food wise, it was OK. I got the fish tacos and it came highly recommended but I wasn't impressed. I did however enjoy the appetizers. We ordered calamari and crab and artichoke dip and those two were amazing. We were celebrating my friends birthday and the restaurant gave her a complimentary cookie crust ice cream cake that was so delicious. It was massive but just enough for us to share around the table.I'd come back to try something different off the menu and for the prettt view.

Sooooooo disappointed in Crow's Nest. This has been my favorite spot to celebrate my birthday, anniversary and random Santa Cruz lunch place for the past 2 years but I don't know if I will return after today.I want to begin with saying that our server Abdul was WONDERFUL and went above and BEYOND in regards to service. Every person we encountered from the busboy to other servers filling our waters were so polite and helpful as well. This Yelp review is for whoever the hell owns this restaurant and doesn't give a shit about their employees and guests. It's painfully clear that the owners new business model is to take whatever $ they got from the restaurant relief bill and pocket it while cutting costs on food quality, ambiance and number of employees on their payroll. There is absolutely no reason why the servers should be struggling by themselves outside with barely any support or management checking on tables. It's obvious they are overbooking and seating too many tables at once for the amount of servers on that shift to profit as much money as possible. You're also paying $20+ a plate to be seated in mismatched tables and plastic lawn chairs outside. The menu is also misleading in its descriptions. A side of "jasmine rice" means plain steamed white rice you'd get at a Chinese restaurant. Again, cutting costs at every corner while charging an arm and a leg for a plate.

Not a good call for Covid to go. No working system for pick up - heavy congestion at the door, food was not ready when they said it was yet it the meat was way overdone and the fries were cold. Won't be back.

Very good service & had the outdoor option. Next to a very beautiful view. I would give the food 4/5, looked very appetizing, but this place is not very specialized in meat dishes.

OK, so let's start with the best part. In the era of covid, we were seated out of the beach for a Saturday evening meal with friends. The screnery and crashing waves in the background created an atmosphere that can't be beat. And things started off pretty well, with a Fried Calamari appetizer that was perfectly tender, if a bit underseasoned. But then, my Seafood Risotto came out, which was watery and lacked the creaminess of a good risotto. The seafood pieces were well cooked, but once again, it was a little lacking in the seasoning department. My wife thought her Mahi-mahi was overcooked, her dish being "just OK"Service was slow and not very tight. The whole place had a little chaotic feel. It was a little pricey for what we got.If you don't care about being the beach side atmosphere, give it three stars. I had a great time overall and I'd come back. But I'll certainly consider other options the next time I'm in Santa Cruz. Also, I'd have to say many interior areas were pretty crammed with people. There are signs to manage social distancing but they aren't enforced. I spent most of my time outside so I felt safe, but I'd think twice about interior seating if I were at high risk for covid.
