Ive been coming here for a few years now. The tamales have always been so good, even if the staff can be a little unfriendly at times. Today the salsa verde tamale I ordered barely had any chicken on it. It's been hit or miss lately. Im not sure if I will return this time.

Ordered tamales and bounce houses a few times. Never any issues. Christmas eve i noticed a voicemail from the day before I missed from them saying they needed my credit card number to refund my order for 50 tamales since i cancelled the order. Almost lost my mind since i did not cancel my order and had already paid them $200 two weeks prior for 4 dozen tamales and had 50 people coming to my house in an hour and my husband was already on the way to get the order. Had to call a couple times to get a resolution and a lot of back and forth and being told they didn’t have any order for me. Luckily they did have my food and got a cancellation mixed up with mine but i needed a blood pressure monitor after that.

So every time my parents go to Santa Cruz they bring back Tamales ! Especially during the holidays I have always told my parents what’s the name of this place, but they would forget haha! This time they went and they told me, but dammmm they have the best tamales ever so dam delicious the chicken pork and corn are just so good I can never get over them. I myself have yet to go in person to see what they have inside but I’m pretty sure there is more yummy options in there definitely recommend this place :)

Yummy bread - dude I haven't been able to find adequate bread pudding or "piedras" in YEARS and then I moved to SC and came to this bakery and boooooom perfect bread.Their tamales taste like mom's tamales. It's great, I regret only getting two but now I know that I can come back!

I went in late in the day to get some tamales. I love their tamales!!! However, I went too late in the day to get the ones that I wanted. However, they had substitutes.. Next time, I will hopefully remember to go earlier in the day.They also have Mexican pastries and bread. The bread and tamales are made fresh daily. They also carry Mexican herbs and spices that are less expensive than some places.If you are looking for a pinata-- this is a great place to go!If you don't have the time or money to go to a foreign country, and you have never been to a Mexican store or country--this might be great fun for you!

El Rosal Bakery has amazing tamales and bakery items as well as all the awesome things they carry here.They make tamales that have been very popular in Santa Cruz. Lots of people come here to get their tamales. They make them fresh and they are super tasty. They have several types to choose from.They also carry exclusive chips that are not the same as the regular bag of Doritos you get at 7-11. These have way more cheese flavor and they have a little kick to them. Don’t believe me? Try them for yourself.They carry Piñatas for kid's parties and customized kid's cakes for that special day. The bakery items are amazing and they have a pretty large selection to choose from.They have lots of brands you can’t find in the regular grocery store. Like Abuelita chocolate for making hot cocoa. Also, La Rosa tortillas and tostadas shells. They have dried chilies for making sauces and real Coca Cola in the bottle. Jarritos too - I think they carry every flavor available.They have lots of specialty items. Definitely check them out next time you’re in the neighborhood.
This place is a gem. The tamales are so good. They're authentic and taste almost like my family recipe(hard to find). Also a great place to buy pan dulce. It's so good and super cheap.

Wow this place is legit!!! The tamales are very authentic. Not dry at all. Tastes like the ones my abuelita used to make. The bread is freshly baked and so soft. Perfect sweetness. I love the way they themselves grab the bread from the trays for you. No need to grab tongs and trays, they will take care of you 100%. I can't say how much I love that. Great service, great yummies, great musica playing in the back with happy employees singing my favorite Peso Pluma! It was meant to be to try this place today for the first time. I will definitely come back again and again.

My first time visiting the store was probably going to be my only time. The cashier was not very polite considering you're in a customer service based business. If you can't greet your customer with a great smile when they're buying your product, you're probably going to lose some of those customers. The way I look at it I can get what I bought there someplace else.
