My first time eating here. I ordered the bacon and scrambled eggs with cheese, which was so good. I came back the next day and had the Carnitas Omelette and banana pancake. There is usually a wait to be seated, so expect that if you arrive during a popular time.I'll be back here for sure.
Hit the spot :)Arrived around 10am on a Friday & it looked kinda busy. Found street parking across the way. Checked in for outdoor seating; 45 min wait we were told. Decided to try the dedicated carry-out window instead because we were hungry after the 2.5 hr drive into town.Staff at the window was nice & helpful answering our questions. Got our food in just 10 min. I had the Cali Benedict & my friend had the Huevos Rancheros w/ carnitas. Portions were large. Benny was yummy w/ crisp bacon, plenty of avocado & sauce. Croissant was soft yet crispy the way I like them. Hashbrowns surprised me, in a good way. Seemed mashed on the inside w/ crispy strips on the outside,l. The Rancheros looked good too but I did not get to try as my friend gobbled it up too quickly :p
Delicious breakfast burrito and veggie scramble. I called in my order, waited in line for 10 minutes and got the noms. The breakfast burrito can literally double as a weapon . Thing is huge, potatoes cooked perfectly with the killer green salsa! Got the veggie scramble with fruit on the side. Solid fruit cup with ripe berries but not mushy at all. I 100% recommend, take it to go and chill at twin lake state beach.
Really great mimosas and customer service. I am new to the area and this cafe was definitely the best spot for brunch. The staff was very respectful and timely.
The team at Harbor have done a great job at keeping everyone safe during Covid. The limitations do make the experience not as good as it was. The friendly staff and great food are still greatly appreciated. Can't wait until we get back to normal
We loved this spot! We were celebrating our anniversary in Santa Cruz and we were looking for a brunch spot with mimosas. Your would think in this town it would be easier to find but really not. I found this place on yelp and based on all my brothers and sisters on here we needed to try this place out. I love how they are respecting our California guidelines and at the same time executing it perfectly in my opinion. For brunch it was a bottle of champagne and some fresh squeezed OJ and had to try their bloody mary which was super delicious with the perfect amount of spicy. I decided on the California Benedict which is a normal Benny but a little twist with the grilled croissant, bacon and avocado. This was absolutely delicious! My wife had the huevos rancheros with carnitas and while I loved my dish I was a little jealous on how good this dish was and kept stealing bites. lol overall a really good experience and look forward to coming back again real soon.
My boyfriend and I came here to get some brunch. They had a 45 minute wait but it was well worth it. The food was really really great and the service was nice. I love the kinetics and their French toast. They currently have their outdoor dining patio open until 2 PM. I know I'll definitely be back here again when I'm in the Santa Cruz area.
Wonderful food and a great Bloody Mary Kits! Very clean and careful when adhering to COVID-19 provisions. Great place for breakfast!
Had 2 eggs and hash browns plus biscuit. Everything was delicious and wished I lived closer so I could come here more.
Wonderful food! Was set up so well for COVID dining. Breakfast options were delicious! Staff is always so welcoming and accomodating.
This place has a great outdoor patio close to the beach. For that alone I’d come back. But the food here and the service were also good. So we will definitely visit this place again and recommend to others if they are rolling through that stretch of highway.
During this Covid19, I sat in my car and ordered a club sandwich with side salad will be ready in 5-10 minutes walked outside my car, 2and person in line, food was ready paid for my lunch and I was out. Fantastic Club sandwich with avocado, mix salad with vinaigrette dressing. Drove all the way from SJ for it and well worth the drive.
Another fantastic place to have breakfast at in Santa Cruz. I started going there when it first opened about 35 years ago. They have been able to expand the restaurant and menu which tells me that I'm not the only one that loves it. Full bar is also a nice touch.
Great food and environment. Every time I go to Santa Cruz I'll eat breakfast here. Service is great as well
Yes, they are in doing take-outs, and it was great. My friend and I ordered Cali Benedict and country fried steak. Country fried steak was well seasoned and served with option of polenta fries or hash browns (has browns always for me). It was very quick for take-out and friendly service.
