I was curious so I checked this place out in Santa Maria. It was kind of confusing. Where do I go to order? What is available? What are the foods? Everything was in Spanish, and as someone who doesn't know Spanish, it was a little difficult to know what things where. I had asked the employee behind the counter and they just spoke back in Spanish to me. I kindly told her that I didn't understand Spanish. But she continued to explain things to me in Spanish and I just spoke back in English. I just pointed to what I wanted and said yes or no. She started to walk away so I just watched where she was going, apparently to the register. I paid and sat down to eat. It was good ice cream. I wish I knew what else they had though and also wished someone spoke English.

Worst service ever manager very rude and flavored water tasted like it was spoiled cheese was cold she was on the phone left me waiting for a long time to tell me No refunds

8-17-2022 at 12:30 we came to get ice cream with my family we come here every time we are in the area we live 5 hours away the women working there was very rushed and rude to the costumers and didn't understand what they wanted. when it was my family's turn she didn't even let my mom finish saying what we wanted before starting to serve and I had ask what milkshake she just made for a women and she said she doesn't know what to tell me. My dad said that the tradition of stopping here is finished.
Siempre voy a esta michocana, y últimamente las ultimas veces que he ido , mal servicio. La señora no sabia que estaba haciendo. Una estrella por servicio al cliente. No sabia el menu , ni que cada comida llevaba que. Como cliente, yo le he podido decir que la comida era para llevar, pero como trabajador, no hay duda que tenía que preguntar. El chicharrón preparado? AGUADO cuando llegue a la casa. Ni me lo comí. El esquite? sin tapadera h sin mayonesa. Y la señora ya sabia que era para llevar. Honestamente ya estaba molesta y no quería decir nada, Tristemente ya no volveré a regresar.

Came here to try the ice cream and it did not disappoint! First the place is very clean and new. The setup is simple and straight forward. The menu's easy to read and understand and the ice cream counter is easy to see and read all the flavors. Some traditional flavors as well as some wild ones to try. The Staff is friendly and quick to help you. I grabbed a 2 scoop cup with the limon(lime) and the Mango flavors. i wanted to get a water based and a cream based to try the difference. Neither flavor disappointed. The limon was vibrant and just delicious, exactly how I remember a traditional lime flavor being. The mango was also very tasty. The cream was actually light and the mango came through wonderfully. Overall the flavor was great! The reason for the 4 stars comes down to two things. The first is that the second scoop was not even a scoop and it was very small. The second is the pricing, to me the pricing is a bit high. Especially considering the second scoop size, just seems a little much for how much you're getting. If you're not worried about price and want a great quality ice cream, check them out.

Based on ice cream experience only, I'm a fan. I haven't had a chance to sample any other offerings yet. I was pleasantly surprised by the somewhat unique ice cream flavors offered. I have never been to Mexico so I couldn't tell if many of them are traditional or novel but they were a lot more unique than the typical stuff you'll find in Cali. I thought the presentation of the ice cream was great as well with pieces of fruit or nuts on top of each crate. The ice cream was very rich and dense. For lack of better comparison, I would compare the consistency to that of cold stone as opposed to more watery/lighter ice creams. The two flavors I tried today were both very good. I plan to return with the kids to sample more flavors.
