Gross dive bar. We had to go here to pick up our St. Patrick's bar crawl wristbands. The bald headed bouncer was on a power trip, typical. He had an obnoxiously bright flashlight that he was literally shining directly in peoples eyes. Do better, you're in Santa Monica.

NOT a place for people under 40 (which may be what they want?). My husband and I have been in about 5x since we moved to the area (we’re 27) and are always treated rudely by staff, security, and customers alike. I was asked for my ID while waiting for the bathroom, and was stuffily told by staff “these aren’t public restrooms.” Duh, we came in for a drink. Is it some private club or what’s the catch? Who gets to be treated respectfully here, and why not us? Very confused. Have given it so many chances but can now firmly say i DO NOT recommend.

Decent place for some beers. But we sat outside. The smell inside was not pleasant and it was also karaoke night and VERY loud. Like hurtful loud in a very small space. Why?! But the bartenders were nice and good people. Didn’t try any food.

Just recently learned this spot is also one of the few Eagles bars in Santa Monica. They could benefit from having more food options but are a solid sports bar with reliable service and strong pours. The Philly cheesesteak style egg rolls were tasty and I'd order them again--Britannia also happens to be a great place for late night karaoke, usually accompanied by a lively, fun crowd. Looking forward to my next visit

I was out with my sister and some friends celebrating her 21st birthday and when we got to this place and gave the bouncer her ID (it was a real ID btw) the bouncer refused it and said he wouldn't let any of us in even tho he hadn't even checked the rest of our IDs. We asked why he couldn't let us in and he just said "we have the right to refuse customers" and then said "our last call was at 1a anyway so we aren't letting anyone in (it was 1:15 at that time) " which would've been fine, but then we walked out and he immediately let the people behind us in. We had gone to another bar and as we were walking back in the direction of our house, we had to pass this pub again and the bouncer was standing outside. None of us were looking at him or said anything to him but he went out of his way to call my friend a pussy, and then proceeded to call the same friend (who is gay) the f slur. We turned around and argued with him and he threatened to fight my friends. Attaching a picture of him below. This guy needs to be fired immediately. If anyone else has had a similar experience with this bouncer pls let me know!
I was hoping this would be a great place to watch the eagles game. But the dj should get a tutorial on what's traditional to play during games. That sound he plays is a hawk! And the " back it up" with the truck?!? The first down audio? He's like a kid with a new sound board. Staff is great, however. Wait! Just discovered " The Garage". They kill it!

My wife and I had our post wedding party here at the Pub and were so happy with everything. From the owner to the cook, to the bartenders, all treated us and our guests with very well. And, to top it all off, it happened to be karaoke night! So much fun there and very grateful to the staff for hosting us. Thank you!

My friend had the nachos and they were gross. The cheese wasn't even melted and the chips were super greasy. I had the fish and chips and the fish was dry and overcooked and the fries tasted like they had been in the freezer for a year or more.
