Such a great spot. Delicious burgers and fries. They even have the impossible burger. Fun atmosphere with retro beach music, outdoor seating and a foosball table. Support this place, it's a great addition to Main Street!
Cowabunga Republic is my new favorite place for burgers in Santa Monica. I really like their location and how late they stay open, too. I decided to order the grass fed cheeseburger and split it with my boyfriend after a night of galavanting around town-- we were starving and this was an absolute treat. The meat and cheese melts in your mouth and hit just right. All of the condiments brought the whole burger together very nicely. +3 stars for a pretty decent grass fed burger. Classic style - no frills here, just a good ole burger to sink your teeth into, and feel satiated from. -2 stars for pretty disappointing french fries (soggy) and very very very slow service. Street parking, great if you're hanging out on Main Street in Santa Monica and feel a hunger pang come on, and you just neeeeeeeed some meat meat meat. Same owners as Holy Guacamole, next door, from what I hear.
