I just came back to hummus express for the first time in a while because my friend wanted to eat here. I asked the cashier what they suggested chicken breast or Shawarma. He suggested the Shawarma and have it with the Laffa and count on us fillers. So I took his suggestion. It was at least 75% fillers and less than 25% chicken. I could barely even taste the chicken.
Came here for a quick lunch when we when we were visiting LA and this is a pretty decent place. We had a couple of the shawarmas and also the hummus plate. I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of food. The shawarmas were well seasons and the beef one had a lot of oil which added flavor. The chicken one was naturally dry but nothing too bad. The hummus played was also pretty big and definitely filling. I recommend potentially one portion for two people.
