This restaurant has the best burgers I’ve ever had and Chef David was a great man. I went here with some friends to celebrate my birthday, this place is special.

Chef David's one of the best little restaurants in the area, absolutely top-notch! It's a little hidden away gem just off Main Street in Santa Paula.What truly sets it apart is the fantastic menu with very creative but still down to earth dishes like, for example, a delightful caramelized onion and pear burger.And they also usually have some daily specials like really fantastic fish and chips on Fridays that are some of the best I've had in a long time.Unfortunately, the founder Chef David Raigoza recently passed, which left a big hole in the community in Santa Paula.But his great restaurant staff are carrying his torch, and my heart goes out to them. I hope David's legacy will, through them, keep delighting people for many years to come.

Excellent catering company. Very delicious pastas, fresh salads, best dressings, and scrumptious appetizers. They provided us with a well organized presentation of the food and very loving customer service. My sister requested her bridal shower food from here, and now I found my go to catering company. Finding them was a little tricky since I live a town over, but now I know where to go. It's also a restaurant so I'm going this afternoon to try other items off their menu.

Thanks to Chef David and his team for a wonderful job with my father's celebration of life event. The food, service, staffing, presentation and everything was outstanding. The team pivoted when additional guests arrived and made sure we had enough drinks to cover the crowd. We are still getting calls and texts commenting on how delicious everything was and how beautiful the spread was. We were beyond happy with everything. Can not recommend these folks enough.

I was stuck on his patty melts because they are so damn good, but I broke tradition and ordered a BBQ bacon burger and that's hands down the best burger I've ever had! Just the bun alone was enough to keep me coming back! I'm dying to try his chicken cordon bleu melt, it looks so good!

What a gem!!! We came in on a Saturday, no one else was there but a few ppl came after. He is located in an alley with beautiful art. You can park in the back free parking lot if you don't want to park on the street. After ordering, our food was out in 10-15 min CHEF BURGER - Fresh, flavorful, and masterfully put together. The sweet potato fries are hands down THE BEST sweet potato fries you could ever have. He puts the Habit's fries to absolute shame in every way. CORNED BEEF & CABBAGE - My husband got this and we both loved it. Like LOOOOVED IT. It was a St Patrick's day special but I hope he keeps it as a permanent item!!!!!! SMOOTHIES - So fresh! It was like someone made them at the bar on a beach. He uses real ingredients, not powder and syrups. Prices were fantastic, and the food was even better. I appreciate that he uses real high quality ingredients. I seriously can't wait to come back and try more things! He's been open for 3 years - however he opened just before Covid. I'm so happy he was able to survive that because his food is phenomenal. This will definitely be the next "it" spot in Santa Paula!
