I love this divey little gem! I've attempted to sit inside a couple of times- but it's just a little too loud and too crowded for me. But I love sitting in their covered outdoor seating. Everything I've had is delicious. My last visit I got the Western Burger and an 805 on draft. It was perfect! A few of the fries were a little limp and soggy- but that would be my only complaint. My friend got the MK burger and loved it as well. Service was great! I'll be back!

Service was great food was ok... very disappointed that the menu online is not the menu they actually had once we arrived.Enchilada nachos were good, burger was ok but was expecting a fresh patty not a frozen one. Fish & chips were good would've preferred plain fries though instead they were covered in paprika.

I had the worst burger I have had in years. It wasn't cooked properly, and the flavor profile was just wrong. There was absolutely nothing enjoyable about it. Previously, I had pretty good fish and chips and a good fish taco here... The fries taste like McDonald's, which could be a positive or negative based on your taste. My wife's Korean fried chicken sandwich was decent, but I won't be ordering a burger again. My burger was a garbage fire.

AAAAAH FREAKIN MAZGING!!! OK so I'm not from this area but I flew up for some work related stuff. Came to this bar. The food is amazing, the drinks are delicious and are reasonably priced. The staff and the owner are amazing. This place is my excuse to fly back to Santa Rosa LOL

Found this place on Yelp and it had wonderful reviews. Got there and was a little surprised that this was a bar type of place, not really a kitchen. Sat outside because it was a beautiful day and had some of the best food I've had in a long time! We had the fried macaroni and cheese balls, the fish tacos and the brie sandwich. Everything was AMAZING! Paired with a warm spring day and a chilled Pinot Grigio, it was the best way to start our trip in Wine Country. The waiter was so sweet and efficient and we truly enjoyed our experience!

We ate here on a Friday night, plenty of covered outdoor seating with a heater almost at every table. It was not super busy, so that was nice & we had a very attentive server he checked on us frequently & brought menus, drinks & food out very quickly. I did find it odd that they do not have a drink menu, but they have a full bar so the choices are unlimited. My go-to here is their MKB burger. Probably the best burger I've ever had, but this time I wanted to try something new, so I ordered the MKB ahí tuna burger. It was so fresh and delicious! The seasoning on the fries were perfect, a little sweet & spicy. Great place to come & have dinner & a drink!

Had lunch with a friend here today, at her suggestion. She'd read a Heather Irwin review in the PD and wanted to check it out. I'd also read this review - Heather wanting to pump up 'over looked' sonoma county eateries. She'd reviewed several restaurants encouraging readers to check them out. Included in the article were some real dogs. All of her photos were supplied by the restaurants. For me she's completely lost credibility. Beware. The good - Service - our server was a young gentleman who was just perfect. Even though we were eating outside we didn't lack for water, napkins, or anything else. He got a big tip, deservedly so. My guess is Thursday lunch time isn't a big tipping shift. LOVED the fries. The French fries are just what you want, fluffy on the inside, crunchy on the outside, seasoned perfectly for me. Best fries I remember having in Santa Rosa in almost 50 years. Crave-able. Kudos, well done. The less good. We each got the MK Burger. Sounded good, looked good, but if your beef isn't fresh and fresh ground, not so good. I ordered medium rare and got medium well. But honestly I'm pretty sure even if it was cooked to order it wouldn't have saved it. Blah beef is blah. We both ate half of our burger, more of the fries. We ate outside because the inside is dive bar dark. Very unappealing. And it's pricey for what you get. $16 + tax + tip - for poor quality frozen beef patty. Pass. It's bar food, I'm not what you'd call a patron of bars. If they had fries as a side order option I might be back for that and a beer. Better yet, make some awesome poutine dishes. You have the hardest part already down - killer fries - poutine with gravy cheese curds and maybe mussels, or shredded duck with duck gravy, of filet slices and peppercorn sauce ..... now there's a destination treat.

We've been a few times over the years. I think it's under newer management, not sure if chef is different from last time I went. Menu seems to rotate, which is cool to keep it interesting. I wanted to try the "twinkies" and the rest of the menu was interesting enough to make the trek. I'm not sure what I was expecting but the twinkies while delicious felt flat in context of texture. Texture in food is important to me, the pulled pork on the inside was tender and had good flavor but the corn cake was just a bit too soft. Felt like it needed a crisp layer or just some kind of contrast since the filling and the cake were both soft. Again, tasted good but I likely wouldn't order again unless I knew it got a bit of a texture update. We split a burger this go round and boy howdy let me tell you, this burger was BOMB! 1st, they split it for us knowing that was our plan which is always awesome. That extra level of service! 2nd, the flavor was out of control delicious! Housemade cheese sauce, juicy perfectly cooked burger, soft delicious bun to soak up some juices but still be a little messy. I'm telling you, there are a lot of burger options in Sonoma County and this is in the top 5 for me. SO good!
