I was lucky enough to visit the award-winning Premonition Winery this weekend. This is a boutique winery that is passionate about the art of winemaking and the owner, Anthony, has a great backstory. He is very personable and knowledgeable and hearing his story and how he does his own farming, wine-making, and bottling really made me appreciate the work he puts in to produce a fantastic line of wines. Everything I tried tasted was amazing -- from the Chard-O-Miner, Zinfandel, to the Pinot Noir. All of the wines had great tasting notes and were easy to drink. Definitely check them out -- him and his wife, Natasha, are a great duo!

I had the honor of visiting Premonition Cellars this past weekend. This is a small boutique winery with a passionate winemaker and owner at the helm! Anthony, the owner, is very passionate about his craft - he does everything from farming, to producing the wine, and then bottling the wine. You can tell how passionate he is about great tasting wine -- many of their wines have won awards in the SF Chronicle and Sonoma County Fair wine competitions! Everything I tried was amazing! I especially loved their Zinfandels and Pinot Noir -- they were easy to drink and pair well with meats and pasta. This is a small boutique winery that really cares about great tasting wine. While we were tasting, we even met other folks who have been hooked on Premonition for years! Anthony and his wife are a great crew; visit them before they blow up!

Anthony keeps his price point low and his wine quality high. The pinot noir is amazing. I bought futures at barrel tasting this year. It was great in the barrel, and excellent in the bottle! Anthony even had wooden boxes hand made for futures purchasers - a classy touch. I am a huge fan. Nice work, Premonition.

I went to visit this place during Barrel Tasting weekend with a group of friends. They have such great wine and amazing people to go with it. Anthony is the winemaker and owner and has such an endearing and honest story. His wine is fantastic and it was by far one of the best stops we made all day. He was extremely personable and made the experience even more great. Anthony does everything from farming the grapes to making the wine and bottling it, so he clearly showed that he has such a wealth of knowledge on his product, and is a well deserving person. I would definitely recommend stopping by to visit him if visiting wine country.
