I used to frequent Silver Moon at least 3 times a week when I was living in Santa Rosa. Now that I am no longer working or living in the area, it's been quite a while since I've been back. I stopped in today around lunch time, and waited in line behind another patron. Both of the ladies who own Silver Moon recognized me and it was so nice to catch up with them. They are the sweetest and genuinely care about their customers. The food was just like I remember it. I always rave about their Pork Fried Rice! I truly think about this place all the time LOL I was so happy to be back and even though I'm not in Santa Rosa often anymore, I will definitely make time to come here again. There was even an updated menu with a ton of new offerings, even party tray options! This place has been by the SRJC for quite a number of years now. Support this awesome, small business if you can. Needless to say, I LOVE Silver Moon!

At first glance we almost left. Once we were inside the service was good, friendly and with a smile.Once home food was Fabulous, excellent flavor and large portions. Don't let the outside fool you. We'll definitely be back!!

I love this place so much the waiters are wonderful and the food is so good- the dumplings and potstickers are my favorite. I like supporting this place because it is local and I know a lot of restaurant owners are struggling these days, and the prices aren't bad at all. The ambiance was awesome and had a very at-home feel. Check it out!

This is your no frills, grab and go Chinese food. You are greeted with a smile by the women. It's clean and simple seating offers quiet spot to eat. We are HUGE fans of the made to order potstickers. I love the steamed and the Kid loves hers fried. They take about 20 minutes, well worth the wait. I suggest calling it in so you don't have to wait. I also like the Hargow, Siu Mai and steamed buns. We haven't tried the hot food bar but they always have a great selection. Everyone seems to order the Teriyaki chicken when we come pick up our food. I believe it's been around for more than 25 years as we used to walk over after school. Please support this small business. You won't be disappointed!

For price, this is amazing. For around 6 to 12 bucks you get heaping servings and flavorful food. Service is great and very friendly. If I'm being objective, it's alright American Chinese at best. Because everything's made in advance and placed in heated tins for serving, the meat can be a little dry and the noodles can be a little squishy. The meat buns are small and understuffed, and the curry balls can have an aftertaste. However, I feel like this can all be justified by price. It's an affordable, lovely little place.

Just stopped by and grabbed take out. Food was inedible, slightly worried I would get sick. Orange chicken looked very old, was grey inside. Threw it out instead of eating.

Curry chicken was short on chicken and long on sauce that hid the ingredients. The chow mien was thick noodles with little else. I had wanted a break from Panda Express and it we a disappoint. No cookie either. Will not go back.
Update: They have increased their menu. It's awesome. So happy that they have expanded their already delicious menu. So excited to try different items now.

Quite nice to take out. The chow fun with black bean sauce was one of the best I've ever eaten anywhere. I also ordered hot and sour soup which was excellent. The veges in the vegetables delite were crunchy, fresh and perfect. The only criticism I have about this meal is the orange chicken. Not very tasty and dry. The chow mein and fried rice were on point. A desirable place for Chinese on the go. I recommend.

NEVER GOING TO ANY OTHER CHINESE FOOD. The chow mein beats anything in Sonoma county. Always fresh and flavorful. My 4 year old even finds their food pleasant!!
