This place is great. I've been anxiously waiting to try it and glad I did. The Italian dip was better than the hot beef subs I get when I visit family in upstate New York. It's like a combination of that and a French dip, my other favorite sub. The wife loved the cold Italian sandwich as well. If you haven't tried this place, please do! Thanks Tommy's!!!

Pizza by the slice or whole pies, the quality is fantastic, sauce that actually has flavor, toppings that actually taste like proper Italian meats and they don't skimp on the cheese, these are heavy pies. The daily specials keep the price beyond competitive, and the service keeps my lunch breaks on time. I can not recommend this place enough.

Tommy’s pizza is delicious! We get it at least once a week, I served it at my grandson’s birthday party along with the meatballs and garlic rolls, I thought I ordered too much food and would have some leftovers for lunch the next day, but no everyone loved it so much I had none!

Living just up the street from Tommy's, I'm a fairly regular customer. Their food is great, the service is speedy and friendly and most importantly, accurate and efficient. I always look forward to going back the next time.Wheelchair accessibility: Being wh'chair bound since birth, I'm always thrilled to find a new business that has wide enough spaces for me to maneuver my wh'chair around the place. I'm happy to say that this is the case at Tommy's Pizza and Subs! ? ⭐

We were SO disappointed when Tommy's closed in El Cajon, many years ago, so imagine how happy we were when we learned that they reopened a new restaurant!We always go for one thing: the White Pizza, it's that good! We've never found anything like it at any other restaurants in San Diego County. And if course, their salads and garlic bread is great too!

I got the 3 item calzone and it was really good. I went again and got a slice of pizza and it’s just how I like it. Thinner style crust.

I have wanted to try for a bit & decided to stop today! Sal was manning the counter! What a fun conversation I had as I ordered Philly Steak sub & a "slice!" Years before, I had eaten at the father's original site and remembered how good & fresh it was! The sandwich I ordered today was delicious & I only ate half! The pizza was one of the best I had tasted in a long time! Bravissimo! ?
