The people at the front desk were racist to me and my family, They told us to go back to our country and they called us beaners. Would not recommend this hotel!

Would not recommend for service members and their families! Upon my arrival to check-in, the front desk lady told me I can’t check-in since it’s 12am. I informed her that the flight was delayed due to the weather. She said she do not care. I said what am I suppose to do? She told me she don’t care and that they will still charge me for the stay! I even requested moving my checkin for a different day and she said no! Piss poor service! Left me stranded at that hour with nowhere to stay but I paid to stay there but was denied. I requested my refund. I will most definitely be contacting corporate because now you robbed me by processing the payment knowing I never stayed there and you denied me checkin. Piss poor service. Ps. The front office was open, not closed!

2 syllables - ghet-to.First off - my kids needed to have a bath first night. They don’t offer plugs for the tubs - so we attempted to use a cloth to plug the drain - photo provided of what the cloth looked like after touching drain for a mere 5-10 minutes. Next thing , like usual my kiddos are usual kids and splashed a bit outside the tub - used a towel to dry up the floors (we had been here less than 20 minutes mind you)Photo provided of the dirty towel after I washed for the floors for the first time for them in who knows how many people. The tub was disgusting. They’re is what looks to be like pee splashed on the walls. Many of the plugs did not work. Also on that note, the shower barely turns enough to get Luke warm let alone hot. There were numerous stains on the beds of the sheets. Ice machine was broken. No hot tub like advertised, “ breakfast “ consisted of warm yogurt because none of their fridges work properly apparently, freezer burnt eggo waffles, overly stale cereal and horrible coffee. Two thin sheets and one small thin blanket on beds in middle of their “winter”. Absolutely no internet service in our room, had to step outside to connect and use it. Regular cell service was even spotty inside the actual room. Almost $270 CAD for two nights. Will never ever stay again. And wouldn’t recommend to anyone travelling who actually stays in hotels frequently. They do not allow pets although they come up on numerous travel booking websites stating they do.The only plus is location as it is within driving/walking distance to quite a bit of grocery stores, restaurants, the Monterey aquarium (which they no longer offer discounted tickets to here) and other Monterey tourist attractions. As well as one hour drive from Big Sur.

Absolutely loved this place! The staff was friendly and accommodating and everything was clean and tidy and available! Was a great cost-efficient way to see our son and his family! Thank you for such great service and a great place to stay! Will definitely be back!Nearby activities: Loved that the beach was in walking distance!

Came down for a music festival. Hotel prices were very elevated that weekend. That put us in a hotel that we may not normally stay at. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. The gentleman at the front desk was so friendly and so accommodating! He let us check in as our room became available which I hope he doesn't get in trouble for that but it meant so much to us. We drove a long way and had to get ready for our concert it was such a blessing to be able to check in early. The hotel was clean and it was safe. It was within walking distance of the beach. There was a Costco behind the hotel. We walked to Costco grabbed lunch then walked to the beach and had a picnic lunch before the concert one day. The rooms were small yes. It was a motel with doors on the outside but the rooms come with a door stopper that we used to wedge the door shut in addition to the safety latch and the deadbolt so we felt very secure. The continental breakfast was very basic but you get what you pay for! The coffee and juice tasted great! Over all it was great!

We are in town for a funeral at the Seaside Veterans Cemetery for my 97 year old grandpa . We thought it best to stay the night . My hubby booked this nice travel lodge . I wasn't sure what we would find . What we found was a nice large room . Shutter window dressings . A Faux fire place X large TV , nice large sink area with a large mini fridge, microwave oven and Keurig Coffee Maker .Updated flooring and living spaces . Very happy with room - -216 :)

The day time manager is so sweet and will take good care of you. Hard working staff. Parking and rooms are secured very well, very safe. Continental breakfast better than most. Coffee EXCELLENT, juice's not watered down like the competition!! We WILL be back here again. You should try

There's no soundproofing, so you can hear everything from the neighbors. What's more, the management has no control over noise in the parking lot or outside, so the noise inside the rooms makes it impossible to sleep. What's more, the beds are very uncomfortable. The only positive point is that the room was relatively clean.
