Sushi is good quality fish, nice size, thinly cut and very good flavor. The rice was somewhat disappointing as it was mushy. Good price for the quality of the fish. A restaurant we will go back to for sushi.

I don’t much like the atmosphere at the Sherman Oaks location but nevertheless, it’s always amazing sushi. Definitely my first go to.

Maybe sushi is different on the west coast but we've never eaten California roll and spicy tuna roll with everything ground up in it instead of a piece of fish. The texture is weird to

Street parking on Van Nuys Blvd as well as a few spots in the back. Not crowded at 11:30 on a Monday. Great variety of sushi and everything we tried was fresh and delicious. Service was friendly. Prices were not excessive. There were no pets when we were there but knowing that they are allowed does concern me and gives doubts about future visits. If they had an outside area JUST for furry visitors and restricted the inside area I would like that much better. The serving sizes were average. Spent $100.00 on lunch for 2 which for me is becoming the new norm.

I walked in with my laptop bag and asked if there were outlets in the store so I could eat while I work. The woman at the front looked around nervously and scoffed and said “no,” and walked off, without greeting me or asking if I wanted a place to sit. Have you ever seen an unfortunate scene with an obviously-homeless person walking into a eatery and the shopkeeper nervously says “oh we don’t have this we don’t have that we don’t have outlets we don’t have anything” to make the person leave? It was exactly like that. Quite frankly homeless or not nobody should be treated like that, but I know I’m a clean honest person, I’m certainly not a second class citizen, and so I didn’t understand what was so perturbing about wanting to have sushi and do my remote work at a local place outside of the house. Oh right, I am Black. Perhaps that messes with the aesthetic of the place, so important that it is just off the highway in the valley but apparently I was tainting it with the heinous crime of asking about if they had outlets.I was deeply humiliated and enraged by this behavior. Of course, if I was to yell or become irate that would be all the evidence in the world to be used against me. I don’t care how good the food is, this treatment is disgusting. In particular, that woman was very hostile from the word “go” for no good reason and establishments that discriminate like that deserve no business whatsoever.

Wanted to try a new spot on a Friday night. We were seated quickly and given a menu. We had looked at the menu for 2 min and they wanted to take our order already. The menu is extensive, has no pictures and is very overwhelming. We ended up ordering 3 rolls & each roll would fall apart. Taste wise they were okay, nothing that would make me crave this spot. It is a decently sized location, but the tables are so close to each other that you can listen to what the groups next to you are saying. We ate quickly and left, the vibe wasn't it for us.

I love this place they have such a great variety of sushi and sashimi. The dishes always taste great and of course I wash it down with some delicious hot sake. They also have a great selection of beers.Parking: There are several spaces behind the restaurant where you can park. Otherwise you can park on Van Nuys Blvd., but you have to pay the meter.

Wonderful rolls, Staff Burned my last roll. NGL. I think they forgot about it because when I asked about it after a long time, the guy said "Oh s***" and then My roll came out burnt lol They were closing though. All the other rolls were fire. I loved it! Id like to come back and re-try the Salmon roll though haha. The basic principle is that they shouldn't have served that regardless but again like I said seem to be a good spot I'm glad I spoke up.
