This hidden place saved me during new year's eve when everything else was shut. Warm delicious vegan food -- it's worth every damn dollar (even if the price is high!). The mango sorbet at the end was awesome too!

This place is a gem! Harold is an incredible chef who's so personable and makes food with so much love using fresh ingredients and spices. We had the j*** chicken and the lamb curry and they were both melt-in-your-mouth goodness. Highly recommend this place if you're in Solvang!!
Got this recommendation from Uber driver for a unique experience. We got J*** Chicken and Pork and fried plantain. Curry spices with a savory blast of flavors. Both dishes blew our socks off. Off the beaten path but less crowded, and was the best meal I've had in weeks. Non at all Danish but I wanted something unique and this was.

My husband and I tried Hummingbird Restaurant after reading reviews and we were not disappointed! We had the pork and plantains dish and the curry goat. Both were really delicious. We kept trading back and forth since they were so different, yet neither of us could decide which one we preferred. Chef Harold was friendly and generous to boot. We'll certainly be back next time we're in Solvang!

Website indicates they are open. The door is unlocked and someone that works at the restaurant is sitting outside having lunch with another lady. Many people have tried to eat there but we're told they were closed.
