From a variety of eggs preparations to pick from (scrambled, poached, sunny side up, omelette), this is indeed a great place for breakfast/ brunch. We drove down all the way from Napa and it was totally worth it! We also ordered an oats waffle and it melted so deliciously in the mouth that we were half tempted to order more! If you're visiting during Halloween, the pumpkin spiced latte is a must try!

Adorable venue, amazing food, friendly service. We stopped by like an hour before close and the host was so friendly, explaining menu items, how it works, just general conversation. You order up front, they'll walk you to a table in the back, they bring it to your table. We got the jackfruit banh mi and the duck sandwich. The jackfruit banh mi was incredible. It looked like pork, was cooked perfectly, had a great caramelized onion flavor to it. And was plenty filling. Same goes for the duck sandwich. Really well cooked duck, tons of flavor, thin rich cuts of meat. Flavorful mustard and slaw. Would order again in a heartbeat. Would be a regular if I was local.

Noticed the lines over the weekend and decided to try for breakfast Food was good, patio nicely done. Space heaters provided to overcome metal chairs in the cool mornings. There are coverings to protect from sun and rain. System to order was efficient. There are menus posted along the way and a few loose copies available near the ordering station. There were also some pastries in a display case (croissants, muffin, pop tart ) You order on the sidewalk and pay. Then you're shown to a table and a number is placed on your table. Flatware wrapped in a napkin and water is provided upon seating. Drinks, if ordered are served, followed by food. Wait time was minimal. We noticed there is no follow-up to check on your drink or food; to top your coffee, refill water glasses, or offer a to go box. Not sure if this is due to an overall plan (quickly in and out) or due to the prepaid service charge. We had - Breakfast burrito; love the flavor of the verde; took home half. - Eggs Benedict; asked for runny eggs, got runny eggs, thick slice of ham, bread a bit thick Definitely a place we'd revisit.

Stopped for a delightful outdoor lunch after walking the Sonoma square. Delicious and fresh salad. Wife had the duck sandwich and I had the chicken salad on salad. Limited menu but the other diners plates all looked tasty. Note that they add an automatic 15% health wand welfare fee in lieu of tipping. Seems fair to me. You pay first and the. Seated and the food comes out. Extra tips are welcome. We’d come back. Sunny and pleasant service. We sat by the fountain on the back.

The substantial line outside "Sunflower" told me that this was worth the brief wait. Found menus neatly posted on the outdoor columns so that we were ready to order when we arrived at the cash register where the professional mgr. repeated our order clearly and showed us to our clean table in the refreshing patio area. Could not believe how quickly our food and beverages arrived! Cannot wait to return:-)

I drove 2 1/2 hours to take my spouse here for their birthday. We had a little pug dog with us. It was late in the afternoon, 1/2 hour before closing. Because of the dog they refused to seat us in the back outside area. The front hostess said they changed their policy months ago. How unfortunate because I eat there with my Pug dog back in March and was unaware of the policy change. At that time I saw kids running and stomping on the cafe's plants. Trust me, my Pug is better behaved. On October 6th, we were told to get take out and sit in the park on a bench. When I went to use the restroom there was only two people sitting in the entire outdoor seating area. That's it. This cafe says they are welcoming, we are an LGBT couple and felt like a total second class citizen. We took our $55 take out order and sat in front of Whole Foods, some birthday celebration : ( Do me a favor get rid of your LGBT flags and tee shirts. For the record, my spouse whose birthday it was, knew and marched with Harvey Milk. Glad your rights worked out for you, they didn't for. I've recommended this cafe to friends and colleagues, no more.

All I can say is wow! The Sunflower Caffe is a must for breakfast or brunch. The food was excellent we ordered the avocado toast, the burrito, the buttermilk biscuit sandwich and the eggs Benedict. It was all very tasty. The biscuit in particular was very well done. The process of ordering is well optimized, the patio is a total vibe, and there is a lot of cute merchandise as well. I would most definitely come back here.

Smoked duck sandwich was incredible! Flavor wasn't overpowering and a decent amount of duck meat, and the bread was perfectly toasted. Surprised at the late lunch line (about a 10min wait) to order food then sat in their back patio and it was the perfect lunch with a watermelon frose! Food only took about 5 minutes to come out. Great spot, looking forward to going back.

This place is absolutely adorable! My husband and I visited for my birthday brunch before we headed back home and decided to check it out. Of course there was a long line since it was a weekend but it moved pretty quickly. The process was super smooth since you just pay the cashier and order once you get to the front of the line. The patio where you eat is super cute. I ordered the oat waffle which tasted really good, you can definitely taste the oats. I also got a matcha latte, this was on the stronger side for me and I needed to add in some sugar but overall it was pretty good. Overall, the food was good, the scenery was super cute, and the customer service was friendly. Don't fear the long line, it does move fairly quickly.

Wow!!! Absolutely fantastic restaurant! The ordering your food at the hostess stand is a little odd but that doesn't take anything away from the service and the quality of the food. We had a party of four for breakfast and every dish was amazingly delicious!!! Highly recommend! Such a cute spot! They have an unusual process, which seemed to make things quite efficient! Instead of a server coming to your table, you order at the front and then they take you back to your table. The outdoor area is so cute, filled with plants. Our food arrived very quickly and was healthy and delicious! We stopped here before our wine tour at a vineyard in Sonoma, and it was a great choice!

Beautiful setting with amazing food. The lavender lemonade was delicious. I had the grilled cheese and my husband had the duck breast sandwich. Everything was perfect. Friendly staff.

Went to this restaurant for the first time. We were super disappointed. Especially since it’s located on the square in Sonoma! The line was long, but did move fast so that was good. They say you don’t pay a tip, but do charge everyone a 15% fee to your bill for 401k and benefits for employees. With that, we expected at least a bit of service from staff other than bringing you your food. It did come fast and coffee was good. We asked for water and received two small glasses of water. The coffee and water are not refilled. No one goes around to tables to refill anything. My husband wanted to use the pepper and it was completely empty! He had to leave our table to find someone for another one. I went to use the restroom and it was a mess! Toilet paper and paper towels on the floor! If we are paying around $45.00 for two breakfasts and no service, I at minimum expected a reasonably clean restroom! As far as the food, the bacon was barely cooked and my breakfast sandwich was very greasy. This was not up to Sonoma standards. Find another restaurant. There are lots to choose from.
