Under new management, been twice since. Had their fish tacos both times and there were delicious! Staff was super nice and welcoming. They changed the name no longer Jalisco's is Mexico's now. Do be careful if you go by during winter, saw a guy slipped and had a nasty fall on thick, thick ice that had accumulated right outside their door. There was no warning sign and it didn't seem like they had sprinkle melting salt on it. Other than that give it ⭐⭐⭐⭐ overall.
Delicious! First time here and I had the shrimp burrito with chipotle sauce. The food taste really fresh and authentic. They are extremely generous with portions, I only finished half of my burrito and saved the rest for later. We arrived in a group of 12 and waited less than 10 minutes for our food. The salsa bar is great with much variety of different salsas. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a tasty meal. The staff are also very friendly. Will come back again. Thank you taqueria Jalisco!
Very authentic Mexican food, good service ,very clean, and the prices are very decent. We tried different items on the menu and they’re all very good. I would definitely comeback for more.
It's a very nice place. Customer service is great. I couldn't do 3.5 stars for food. Tried shrimp burritos and shrimp tacos. They were decently good in taste. Pricing is decent as wellFood: 3/5
Lazy Tuesday afternoon checking out South Lake Tahoe and we came across this place with outdoor seating for our dog. We both had the Chili Rellano Burritos and they were EXCELLANTE.
This is the go to place for authentic tasteful Mexican food of any kind. My favorite is always chile relleno but i am writing to inform you of a dish i have never seen before offered so i returned the next day for take home calder 7 mares and it is to die for flavor aplenty and 4 servings for an order for one!! And i have the pics to prove it!!!! They charge now for bag of chips pre covid the let you scoop tour own every tahoe trip must include a visit for home cooked food and they stay open later than most and they stay busy. Locales eat here
Been in Tahoe for a week and have had to come back 5 times for their pozole visiting from LA and this spot's Pozole tops any restaurants ive been to. Definitely recommended
Food is tasty, service good but never open. Closed too many weekends to count. Done trying.
This place is 100% authentic. The food is delicious, and the portions are decent. The prices are reasonable, but I would use cash if you have it. Otherwise, they charge 75 cents for the transaction fee. Oh... best part about this place-- they have a legit salsa bar. The hours have recently changed: they're open 11am-8pm Tuesday -Sat (closed Sunday and Monday). There is a customer bathroom.
One of the best Mexican food joints in town!Great food, fast service, and great prices.Still hoping they get their beer and wine license back after the move.
Hidden gem. Love this Mexican food so much! My wife eats plant-based, and they have options for her. The veggie smothered burrito is a must
If you live or are staying anywhere near the Altahoe neighborhood, this is the best spot to grab breakfast burritos. The food is delicious and consistent, staff is friendly, and the location is not far from the water if you want to enjoy your meal by the lake.
So good. Go to spot when we come back. Authentic and properly done. So far the menu from basic to weekend additionals to the soups have been on the money.
Best Mexican food I've had in a long time, the salsa that comes on the taquitos was so flavorful, their spicy salsa from the salsa bar was fire, and the carne asada was seasoned perfectly. Also just a really cool, off the beaten path location to chill and relax.
An other good place to taste Mexican food, so delicious, we eat different dishes. We are family of 13 and everything was phenomenal, place very clean and the bathroom to. Come and enjoy.
