Our first time here tonight and unfortunately our last. My husband I both ordered a Chile Relleno, rice and beans and he also got chile verde. We each were given chips in a basket, maybe a dozen chips per basket with no idea if we could get a refill. We were super shocked that our food came out so fast and dug right in, with our forks, no knives, and he chile was previously frozen, it was so watery and had little to no flavor. The breading was soggy and had no flavor so I dug the cheese out and made a burrito with that, the rice and beans with the tortillas. My husband said the chile verde was ok, tasted like it was just recently placed in green sauce. The flan looked AMAZING so I got that but ate a few bites and left it. It wasn’t good at all and I hated that because it looked like it had promise. Mexican food is our favorite and we love trying new places, especially those with great reviews, but sadly, we didn’t like this place or its food at all.

Note: The sign at the front says Jalisco Taqueria, but I was told it is the same. Had the pozole and two tacos(al pastor, carnitas). The tacos were great. They give you a side of onions, radishes, and lime. Most places I've been before also give you cilantro, but not here. The pozole was not spicy, but they gave me some hot sauce to add, smoky chipotle, I think. Once I added it, it was spicy enough for me. It had a LOT of meat. The bowl wasn't as big as in other places, but for the price, I think it was reasonable. I would recommend this place, as long as you are not expecting a fancy place. BTW, it's now open on Mondays, too.

Great taqueria with a varied menu. Portions are large and the price is great. Carne burrito was filling and the three taco combo was loaded with protein. Showed up hungry, from a long drive, this place did not disappoint. Cool tacos , huge quesadillas, torta de milanesa to die for ! The service is awesome, they play authentic music, free chips and salsa and if the police eat there it guarantees safety, definitely will return in a future Tahoe visit!!!!!!!

Chock full of meat, guacamole, sour cream, cheese, beans, and a whole raft of delicious flavor, the super burrito does not disappoint. It's also massive, and fit for a large hungry human. Service was friendly enough. I definitely walked in and expected good Mexican food. The atmosphere and staff just gave you the idea that it was going to be good Mexican food. It lacked flavor on every meal we have gotten from here. You had to add salsa or hot sauce or just anything, so it wasn't so bland. Food was decently portioned. I was full from just the burrito, and I have a decent appetite.
