The food we got was quite good - 4 stars. Baba ghanoush, chicken shish and lamb/chicken wrap were all solid. I have to take off 1 star because the value for money was pretty poor compared to equally good spots like Mazra or Lotus in San Bruno, or City Kebab in Daly City. I shouldn't be paying $10 to only get 3 small chunks of chicken. So, overall, 3 stars.

Hey! Just tried Grill Kebas in South San Francisco, and their Chicken Kebab Plate is incredibly delicious. I highly recommend the restaurant! In addition the place is immaculate. The service is a plus.

I didn't expect much, but I expected fresh food! The lamb and beef gyro platter wasn't a gyro at all! Just dry, shredded meat. Not even any taziki sauce! Salad was bland, with mushy tomatoes. Hummus and pita were good but they give about 2 tablespoons of hummus on the plate. Chicken kabob was better- at least it had flavor and seemed freshly made.

Review of Grill Kebab and Gyros:I recently had the pleasure of dining at Grill Kebab and Gyros, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. From the moment we stepped into the restaurant, the owner and staff were incredibly hospitable, making us feel welcomed and comfortable. The owner himself was very friendly, taking the time to chat with us and ensure that we had a great dining experience. He was attentive to our needs and went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied with our meal.Speaking of the meal, the food at Grill Kebab and Gyros was absolutely delicious. The kebabs were cooked to perfection, with just the right amount of char and tenderness. The flavors were outstanding, making each bite an absolute delight. The fresh bread served alongside the kebabs added a wonderful touch to the overall experience. One thing worth mentioning was that the soup we ordered turned out to be a bit too spicy for my mom. However, when we brought it to the owner's attention, he immediately took care of the situation. Not only did he replace the soup, but he also offered us a complimentary, delicious Turkish coffee as a gesture of goodwill.Overall, I highly recommend Grill Kebab and Gyros for anyone seeking a delightful dining experience. The combination of the friendly and hospitable owner, along with the scrumptious food and excellent service, made this a memorable visit. Whether you're a fan of kebabs or simply looking to try something new, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit.

This was the least greasy Mediterranean food I’ve ever had. We got a couple items that we couldn’t pronounce, (along with pita and falafel) and had a great time- it was all delicious! The restaurant is also very clean with beautiful decor. I’m not sure, but it certainly felt like authentic Mediterranean food.Update: It has been several months, and I’ve been here multiple times. What follows is a longer term review.Get the grilled mixed plate or kebob mix and spanakopita. Get the desserts if you feel you have room. Get the sauce.Just as you can tell how authentic an Italian place is based on the cannoli or lack thereof, I believe you can tell how good a Mediterranean place might be by the Spanakopita. Let me tell you.I am one of the laziest people I know,(I haven’t checked with anyone because I’m too lazy), BUT I drove 20 minutes just to have a meal here because I wanted the spanakopita and grilled mixed plate THAT badly. I have never done anything like this in my life, I almost always go somewhere nearby where I live. Instead, I drove here like an addict, thoughts focused on the spanakopita. Flakey and crispy on the outside, doughy and cheese on the inside. I’ve had a lot of spanakopita in my past. Sometimes too oily and soggy, but this place. Oh my. This Spanakopita makes me want to convert my religion and middle name. The meats are tender and delicious. The pita bread is good as well.I put my phone down to solely focus on enjoying the experience here, as I savor every bite and look at the beautiful wall-art, so I don’t have a lot of pictures, but at least I have a grilled mixed plate picture.Look, it’s good, but don’t come. Let me enjoy it in peace. But if you do, please leave quickly so I can enjoy my meal in peace. I’m only partially kidding.

Amazing food. We were craving for some good Mediterranean food and decided to drive all the way from San Jose. The food never disappoints and the service is stellar. Pretty good ambiance in the middle of South San Francisco downtown.

We stopped by on a Saturday evening around 5. There were a few other customers and some pick up orders but it wasn't too busy at all. The service was fast and friendly. The food was excellent. It was fresh and we enjoyed everything. We got chicken gyro plate, and the Chicken Shish plate. Both were seasoned well and were delicious. The rice and salad were superb. Perfectly dressed and full of flavor. The bread and hummus were also very good. We tried the baklava and it was also really good. We are already planing another trip to try more menu items. Also the restaurant was very clean.

5/5 We recently dined at this family-owned kebab restaurant, and I can't say enough good things about it. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and a welcoming atmosphere. The food was simply outstanding - the kebabs were perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. The menu offered a variety of options for every palate, and the portions were generous. What truly stood out, though, was the sense of togetherness and genuine care from the family running the restaurant. It felt like we were dining in their home. I can't recommend this place enough for a delightful family dining experience and mouthwatering kebabs.
