Every time I've gone to this location on a Saturday morning, they've always made my mint mojitos to perfection. There have been a few times where they've given me the wrong food item but have always fixed the mistake. Shout out to the baristas that work Saturday mornings. You guys are awesome.

I always go to Philz at least once every time I'm back in the city. Mint Mojito is my go-to and it never disappoints.

Came on a Friday afternoon at 2:30pm and was hoping to get some work done. Around 3pm, some people came in and started moving chairs and tables around. Turns out there was an open mic at 6pm and they needed to prepare. I saw that they were moving the big tables and furniture. I was sitting by the window on a small table so I asked the barista if I would still be able to stay and work, and she told me they might do sound check so it might be a little loud but it was fine that I kept sitting there to work. There were also about 10 customers in the store on their laptops and working. But shortly after, one of the guys moving the tables pretty much asked me to leave because they had to use my table. It was quite awkward and uncomfortable since I was a paying customer and he wasn't a Philz worker. I felt like I got kicked out.If I had known there would be an open mic and preparations would happen 3 hours before the event, I probably would not have picked this place to work. Maybe you can put up a sign or give your customers a headsup next time? Drinks are always good here. Don't know if the open mic is a recurring Friday event, but just a heads up that this may not be a good place for working or catching up with friends over coffee on a Friday afternoon!
