We decided to try their food truck at TreasureFest since it seemed like a popular spot. However, we waited about an hour in line to both order our food and to wait for our food. The wait for the food felt the longest. I was even observing how often other customers’ food was being handed out through their pick up window, and it was not very often. The service was very very slow for a food service. Even other customers waiting for their food were looking around and wondering what was going on. The rest of our party finished their food, which was from other food trucks, before we got our food. I understand the food was most likely made to order, but when we were handed our food it wasn’t even hot. Just kind of warm. The food was also okay, it wasn’t awful. Tastes like the chicken you’d get at Disneyland or another park and it was at those same park prices (a bit much for what we got) Was really disappointed by the experience and will not be coming back. Should’ve asked for a refund.

The sandwich taste similar to what you would have at a theme park and similarly overpriced.

Got their tenders with waffle fries and house sauce, in addition to an ube mochi cake! The chicken was fried perfectly, with a crispy outside and tender, juicy inside. The fries were also fried perfectly, and everything was fresh and hot. The house sauce was super yummy for dipping with both the chicken and the fries. The ube mochi cake had a chewy texture and you can definitely taste the ube. Sooo good! 10/10 coming back again.

Last month I went to their food truck. I wish the portion of the Ube mochi cake was bigger and a little less coconut flavored. Surprisingly the taste was better at room temp than warm when I first got it. The texture was nice and reminded me more so of a brownie than a cake.

Recently had the chicken sack (fries and a chicken sandwich) at the sundown cinema event in alamo square. I never have high expectations for chicken sandwiches, I've had so many bad ones, but it sounded so good. I ate this one so fast I could not stop. The chicken was super moist and perfectly crisped and the bread and toppings they used were minimal but effective and delicious. The fries are the waffle kind and they were still delicious after getting cold! 10/10 for me thank you, Respectable Bird!

Fried chicken from a industrial kitchen near Biotech central - surprised we even heard about it - but kids were out of school and they love fried chicken and their Dad so we drove to his workplace off Oyster Point and all drove to the location - didn't expect this setup so I pretty much had to pee halfway through the meal - not their fault but still unfortunate - theee Y chromosomes all picked fried chicken samdwoch and loved every bite of it, even though hubby said it was a little greasy - I had two pieces of chicken and a corn bread muffin - good with corn kernels in it, very dense in my mouth - hey it was good, just need smaller bites with water - my chicken was delicious but greasy as well. I could only eat half of a piece. It took 22 minutes for the food to come out. This was a bummer since you aren't hanging out in a nice location. Overall tasty chicken, 4 stars.

Came here in 2021 during the pandemic they were located out of a warehouse. Order took a while and there was a short line but the food was worth it. The fried chicken is better than most places and the fries are really good. Have tried going back but the hours were quite limited.

Find them at Fort Mason Off The Grid. Give them a follow on instagram too. I ate a chicken burger (sandwich, actually) and it filled me up for the whole day. From time to time I will order the chicken tenders and fries basket with their yummy house sauce (pictured). It made me feel like a tween again.

August 2022:Tried the fried chicken noodle cup at the Off the Grid noodle challenge on 8-19.The lines were long and the menu looked very good. For this event, the truck had a set item that you got. The portion was comparable to the other truck's dishes. At first glance, the dish looked really good. Had a nice soft boiled egg that looked perfect as the yoke oozed over the noodles ?.Taste wise, it was pretty tasty but I thought there was too much sweetness in the dish. Tasted like teriyaki sauce which was a bit too overpowering of the chicken and egg.Just some feedback that hopefully helps. Rating five star ? and hope to try some of the food from their regular menu next time.
