Lovely old school neighborhood place. Delicious food-- the petrale sole special with polenta was amazing--the calamari was perfectly made and scrumptious, the tiramisu was superb and even the house coffee was excellent. The owner Julian was so welcoming and gave us a delicious glass of Romeo cab on the house! With the great food, reasonable prices, amazing service from Basa, what's not to love? I'll be back!!!

8 dollars for a soda is ridiculous. It doesnt show that on the menu. Way over priced for what it was. Staff was nice. However the place is a bit outdated. The whole time we got there you can hear the kitchen staff yelling. Spent 91.00 for 2 entrees and a soda.

The chicken marsala was excellent, the tiramisu, however, was bland and tasted mostly like whipped cream, not worth the 12 USD. Even though the restaurant was busy, they managed to squeeze us in. Overall the food was delicious and there was a warm, cozy vibe. Definitely recommend!

RBG doesn't disappoint. Warm & cozy main dining room with a small bar area. We've always enjoyed our dinner selections. Service is friendly with courteous staff. Price is on par for a restaurant with ambiance down the Peninsula. Basa had great energy & makes you feel welcomed. Support local business!!

The food was very good. I hade the filet mignon, and it was cooked as requested. . I especially liked the polenta. Easy to book even on Valentines Day. They were very busy with just 3 waitstaff and a consistent turn-over of tables, but still managed to provide efficient, professional and great service. It was also nice to see that they did not hike up the price or created some fixed 9-course meal with an exorbitant price tag just because it was Valentines Day. I'll definitely return.

This place was a last minute valentines choice. I really wanted Italian. I've never been before. But listen...THIS PLACE IS THE ONLY ITALIAN RESTAURANT WE WILL BE DINING AT FROM NOW ON! The food was absolutely incredible. The service was fantastic. I've never had a better bruschetta. My chicken Marsala was to die for and the chicken parm was amazing. Can't say enough about this little gem. So good.

I have been this area more than ten years,.this is my first time here.when I arrived, I felt that it was very nostalgic and I liked it very much. On Saturday night, there were only four tables customers from 5 o'clock to 7:30. The food is 2 stars and the service is 4 stars for my table.maybe that is why not many customers. For this price and their food,I may not come back again.

$70 for tasteless alfredo with 5 small shrimps (tail on) and mediocre fried calamari. Not surprised to see the place completely empty.

This place has been here for over 30 years! And now I understand why! I love the atmosphere and the owner comes out and greets everyone. He even did a magic trick. The food is in a restaurant but it feels like a home cooked meal:) Had the seafood platter with polenta. It was amazing! The grilled calamari steak was the best part of it. Seafood pasta was so light and very delicious! But you have to try the clams! The sauce is soooo good!! Dip some bread in it too! I would highly recommend this Italian restaurant:)
