We went to Temecula for hot air balloon and got to stop by this butchery before we headed back. We went there for pork baby ribs. But when we saw the tomahawks, we decided to choose one! We got a less than 4 lb tomahawk, one rack baby back ribs and several chicken thigh meats. We grilled the tomahawk at the same night on our Kamado Joe's grill. It was amazing!!!!! Probably the top 3 steak in my life. The meat is super fresh as the owner said they got the steaks in that morning. It was the best quality. We can't wait to try the baby back ribs our too!

No interest, when I went in there was no friendliness, No Customer care, n when meat in counter still has Saran Wrap over trays. Or care!

Walked in on a Sunday afternoon. Barely a selection. Mostly empty display case. No other customers except us in there. We asked the man behind the counter if he could make us a sandwich and he said they stopped making sandwiches a half hour ago. Not one customer and there, and he would rather send away a customer. Odd.

This has to be one of the worst butcher shops I've been to. Walked in and not even greeted as we walked around to a bunch of empty cabinets. Walked up to the only unit with meat and still nothing. So we just turned and walked right out the door...

Naughty Pig Butchery is the best Butcher Shop in Temecula. A city like Temecula is going to have an artisan Butcher and Naughty Pig is a very, very good one. On par with OC favorites such as Electric City Butcher and The Butchery, you know while walking in you are about to purchase far more than you should because everything in their cases looks wonderful and the products are all sourced from small farms -- locally as possible -- and are free of the bad things big farming stick into animals. To that end, it can get expensive quickly. To the tune of $129.00 per pound for Japanese A5. But hey, you wanted a Japanese A5 Steak, right? Popular items include a multitude of different flavored Bacon and Sausages, any meat product you could ask for (even Sweetbreads and Blood Sausage), and the most important offerings of all: Naughty Pig Butchery's stupendous take out Sandwiches. There is a "Sandwich of the Day" where the team gets creative quite often as well as the stalwarts like the house-cured Ruben Sandwich, an in-house smoked Pastrami, and Deli-style Sandwiches with the meat piled sky-high. If nothing else, you have to stop in for lunch if you are in the area. A 5-star no-brainer.

They have really good sandwiches here but the problem is they only sell them sometimes with no set schedule it’s says on their website everyday from 11-5 but I’ve gone multiple times for them to tell me they just simply aren’t making sandwiches that day. The murrieta one seems to be ran significantly better than the Temecula one.

Omg - just that ... omg ! So delicious!!! We ordered the Cuban & pastrami. I'm usually a Cuban girl but I preferred the Pastrami over the Cuban. They were both great, BUT THAT PASTRAMI! I've definitely had my share of pastrami sandwiches and this Pastrami has to be the best I've ever had.

Not happy! The meat I got was mostly fat! Also I paid $200 for the wagyu brisket and the meat was not good. I am very disappointed, I had expected better since this was the only meat house in town. Guess I am traveling for good meat.

Great selection, high quality meats! Very good service, you could not ask for more! This is my husband's new favorite spot to shop!

I am reading wonderful customer service reviews, unfortunately that’s not what my disabled, hard of hearing , veteran neighbor experienced. Every interaction was short, rude, condescending and insensitive. These people may have great product however that’s not what makes a business. You can have the best product in the world. If you can’t treat people right then your business will not flourish. This is not the first time I have referred people to this business and I have received the same complaint. They definitely lost me as a customer and as a referral. Shame.

Reviewed sandwich: Pastrami Royale with added sauerkraut. Eaten in my car immediately! My trademark these days. Let's start with words like "Rich flavor" "Tender beyond fall-apart tender" This was an incredible creation. $15.95 with sauerkraut. Worth every penny. I went next door to get a cold Mexican Coke. I wish they had them at N. Pig. The sandwich is very rich and juicy. Be prepared for this one. Come hungry! This is a huge sandwich. It won't be good later, it eill be soggy. Everything compliments each other. Nothing competes for top dog on the tongue. See my photos, they speak for themselves. I can't do this one too often, it's too rich. But iI I I'll come back with my brother. He will love this place! The meat counter will blow your mind. When my kitchen remodel is done, I'm heading back! This is The Butcher Place of the Century!

Awesome service and great quality meat! My wife and I visited this butcher for the first time this weekend. We purchased 4 different types of sausage and a cowboy ribeye. Everything we purchased was of exceptional quality! When we entered the store, the gentlemen at the register could tell we were newcomers to the shop and treated us well, while informing us what they has to offer! Great quality and a great experience. We will be back!

Customer service is not good. We came here 2 weeks ago asking to pre-order some dry aged porterhouse. One of the guys told me he’d get it in a week and a half. He also said you probably won’t buy it all as is if he wasn’t taking my order seriously. I called in 2 days ago to check if the meat is ready to be picked up. It seems that he never submitted the pre-order for me at the time I had asked go figure with the guys attitude that day. they told me there’d be some available Thursday, so Thursday rolls around and I walk into the store not seeing any dry age on the shelves. I ask if they had any available right off the bat I get a rude response that it won’t be ready tell Friday. I tell him I had spoke to someone a few days prior and was told it would be available and that I had also came in 2 weeks prior and placed a pre order for dry age porterhouse. Which he tells me he has no idea who and why they would say that it would be ready Thursday. (Which I’m pretty sure it was him who told me on the phone) then another guy comes out from the back and it was the original guy I had placed the pre order with 2 weeks prior. He was extremely rude as well much like the first experience I had with him when I placed the pre order. These people just don’t seem to enjoy there job and it shows. They tell me the porterhouse is not ready until tomorrow (Friday). Whoever that talked to me two days prior saying it would be ready doesn’t exist I guess? They say they can give me the meat early, even though it’s not properly aged (according to their standards). I’m not gonna take this meat if it’s not properly done that’s what I’m paying for? I live out in hemet, so I’m not local. I come here to pick up quality meats. It seems as though that their customer service is not on par with the meats. I will go to Murrieta from now on. Jesse at the Murrieta location has outstanding customer service. He’s gone out of his way to try to make sure I’m happy and things are right after I had explained this experience. That’s the kind of customer service they should have at Temecula location.
