Sushi was delicious! It tasted fresh, and flavorful. Server was so kind and friendly and make sure to periodically check in on us. Food was reasonably priced but more importantly super tasty! Will be back and would highly recommend to anyone looking for high quality sushi!

Finally stopped by, recommended by keith. We tried so many sushi over last 30 years including 3 michelin stars in Japan.Usually never make to-go sushi but wife was waiting for me at home.Ordered 7 different sushi that we always get. Packed nicely and labeled.Used red sushi rice vinegar that high end use. Very surprisingly delight and enjoyed each piece. Can’t wait to dine-in. Thank you.

The best and only authentic Japanese chef in our immediate area. Wild fish options and so much cleaner and fresh fish. I find this the one and only sushi that is not only delicious to eat but the quality is unbeatable. The servers are lovely and attentive and it is a pleasant and calm dining experience rather than noise and hype.

This restaurant is amazing, the owner Mitsu takes such pride in his craft. You will enjoy a culinary experience, the Japanese way!

First time eating here - among the best sushi restaurants I have eaten at. Authentic Japanese experience - not an Amercianized experience with sauces and specialized rolls. My friends and I went with the omakase, and every piece of fish was a unique flavor experience. Many of the varieties of fish available were direct from Japan and not found at other places I've been - barracuda was a highlight. The service at the sushi bar was perfect. Highly recommend.
I will never ever go back, 155 bucks just for me?! The slice of sushi was ridiculously small. I seriously didn't eat alot, I let the chef pick a few things, but it should of never of added up to that much. It was my first and last time!

First time here based on a recommendation and I was blown away at their quality. Super fresh, mouth watering, it just melts. Everything the chef recommended was spot on. They have real wasabi too. Love the miso. Great service filling up my tea. 10/10. By far the best quality sushi anywhere around. Not a place for rolls, or lots of sauce. This is authentic real Japanese.

This place is as authentic as it gets in Ventura County. The head chef is incredibly nice, although also traditional. If you are looking for incredible sushi or hard to find quality and service, this is the place. I am currently learning Japanese and every employee at Kanda gets extremely excited when I speak it. This place is such an amazing environment, please go there. Only warning I can give is the sushi is very traditional, don’t try to order special rolls or bathe your food in sauce.

Fish was pretty fresh but they didn't have any crave worthy recipes to keep me coming back.

I ate at the sushi bar during lunch on a Friday. If you ever ate at Sugarfish, the quality here is comparable or better, and the prices are very reasonable considering how good the quality is. The albacore, bluefin tuna, and yellowtail were all truly exceptional. There are traditional hand rolls and sushi rolls, but this is not the place to go to for rolls with sauces or mayo on them, the sushi chef here is a bit of a purist. There are plenty of tables, high chairs for small children, and plenty of bar seating. I would recommend Kanda to satisfy the need for solid sushi.
