The food there was really good, nice choices and not really expensive due to the fact your on an Island and they could charge a lot more.

Wow! I came for the burger because I heard how amazing it was and I was not disappointed. It's probably the best burger in Los Angeles. I've been traveling a lot and eat burgers everywhere and I can't think of a better one. Now that said I am French and came with a group of friends and we ordered the onion soup , the steak frites, the frisée aux lardons and the moules frites and finished with a crème brí»lée and everything was on par with the top bistros in Paris.

Moderate selection. Enjoyed 3 street tacos for $12. You can get take away sandwiches. Beer and wine.

Delicious pork carnitas tacos, perfect level of spice, slaw, and meat, exactly what you want for a hearty snack.

Just visited this restaurant while exploring Angel Island and so glad I did! They serve a burger, ceviche, clam chowder and then 3 types of street tacos (chicken, carnita, tilapia). The hubby and I ordered carnita tacos and a couple beers. They did not disappoint! Even with the substantial portion size of each taco we still ended up having a second round of tacos, they were so good. On Saturdays at 2pm through October they have a live band too so we hung out for a while to listen to the music. The band was good and added a nice touch. Very happy we chose to explore this location !
Thank you very much for the five star rating of Angel Island Cafe! Cheers!

The Cantina is the perfect stop after a long walk around the island to kick back and wait for the ferry off the Island. They have on tap brew and a nice variety of finger food to enjoy on the open air patio. We tried the fish tacos and they were very tasty, with perfectly cooked fish and a slaw topping that was pleasantly spicy, as it should be. They often have music on the little stage to enjoy while you are kicked back, that normally starts around 2 pm.
